First, try joining programs through the downline builder

...Sooner or later, your downline should look like this:
Level 1 : 1
Level 2 : 1
etc, etc
Then, try paid e-mails...Try writing a unique ad and you should get a few referrals

Good luck!

Join advertising only sites to earn money for ads.
Use earnings when you can to redeem for ads (banners, PTC, paid emails).

Yep! The Downline Builder of the forum. It's a good way to start yourself off with a small downline in one of each level, and then you can try your luck with promoting.

Some use the referral exchange and pay people to join under them, but to my knowledge, there is a 200post/2mth rule on this forum to do a referral exchange.

Thanks Cash! I believe I read your response to that before...about advertising and I've just started getting enough points on some of my site to do the autosurfing.
Working on a web page.
Have you been doing this long? Curious. I see your postings on here a lot.

I've been a member here since last June or July I think. I have been much more active in posting in Promotion Advice and Newbies lately because I like to help others learn what I have learned here.
You can also PM me if you need help with a web page.
check out this thread here for the sites I have been making for others at GPF.

Does a downline usually build up after the last level?
I had one under me on "downline builder" and it shows 10 people after me but only 6 on the site. Is that because there is a limit on how many I can get "indirectly"?

Yes each program has its own refferal level
6 is the most common
In the downline builder You get only one direct refferal(these refferals earn you much compared to indirect refferal)
in the downline builder the one than joins below your direct refferal is your second level
I think you joined Bythebeach

right
well here
Level 1 - 15%
Level 2 - 12%
Level 3 - 9%
Level 4 - 6%
Level 5 - 3%
Level 6 - 1%
this means you have only 6 levels
i.e roller21 is your only direct downline
whitknee is roller21s' direct downline(your second level ,indirect)..
..
so cimek should be your last ie your 6th downline
got it

Well all downline builders work the same way so join any program you want under the downline builder (unless you want to help some poor being begging for refferal

)
because you atleast get one direct refferal
well something is better than nothing
actually you got 46% from bythebeach as refferal
that is they earn you 46c every time you earn a dollar

That's cool that I get something.
What do you think of the sites that do nothing but promote your downline building?
CashIndustries
Apr 12 2004, 01:50 PM
which ones have you seen that "promote your downline building"?
I'm not sure I'm familiar with them or maybe I'm just misunderstanding what you're saying. It's quite possible ya know

CASH,
I just meant promoting as in having your banners displayed. My understanding of ads on each individual makes sense to a point. But I'm assuming that placing your banners on a site that will get them seen by more people would be helpful in gaining a downline more so than having your ad on a site that people already belong to....did that make sense?
So I guess that's what I meant by a "site" that would help with "downlines".

okey dokey.
I guess I'm pretty thick today

. Not quite getting your point.
I'm thinking that you mean you, oh heck I'm still not sure.....

That's okay, I'm sure if I know what I mean either??
I just know that on some site, downline building is the only thing that seems to help your points or cash. Not all of them, but some.
So basically just trying to get my ads "seen" by as many people as possible.

Yes I have and although the idea is great n all, but it's not practical for people
with life outside the ptre.
If you spend 15 hours a day clicking mindlessly on ads, yes it could work.
But if you have a full time job, do housework from time to time, do golf on the
weekend, answering emails from friends around the world and on occasion, watch
your favorite tv shows, forget it, it's not feasible.
Some ptre programs that's being promoted are unsustainable. Besides whose got
time to click 200-300 emails a day.
Just my 2 cents.

I try a lot of the things that Cashindustries suggested:
I've joined several traffic sites, but I've found it's hard to keep them up. I've set a home page in IE for one, homepage in Mozilla on another, also our sedond computer has a third traffic site set for a homepage. That way, I get hits everytime I open a browser.
I've created one of those 7-day course sites, and send emails advertising that. But I've found most people sign up for the first handful of sites, but not all twenty. So it's a good idea to put your strongest first.
I've also signed up for a few safelists. I got two executive memberships by upgrading with Heavenly e-mail.
Several upgrade specials have allowed me to e-mail both individual sites, and my 7-day course. The nice thing about my 7-day course is that it's not time sensitive. I'm still reading ads for CoyoteCash!
PTCs and Banner impressions also work, but I read somewhere that you may get one sign up out of 50,000 impressions.
I still don't know how to save my banners to my 150m site. Any suggestions?
