I wish I would get a random payout once in awhile too :-)

M-I-M has done some random payouts and they were completely random but I have noticed that on other sites too
freeandeasy
I think in many cases it's a matter of the same few people are the ones who posted that they received a random payout.

My sites have made hundreds of random and early payouts, and most of those have gone to members that nobody ever heard of because they seldom if ever post at this forum.

It's the same handful of people who post over and over when they get a random payout, most people just never post it.

I haven't received any random payouts. Only because I don't have it marked in the interest section.

On SOME programs the reason you see the same people getting random payouts

over and over is because they are in "the inner circle" of friends with the WM. This

has been discussed on this board lots of times before with the same conclusions.

THIS is not what happens on ALL programs but some well known programs do this!!

I dont think it is fair to make that assumption without proof, unless you have some evidence other than some members making rumours?

I got a random payment from Nutcase awhile back, so it does happen. I do agree that some of them aren't random at all, though.

Random payment isn't always nice.
I recieved one when I was about a dollar from payout. I would rather have earned that dollar and got a total payout.

My new site, cash4points.com has been up for less than 24 hours and I just made $10 worth of random payouts, all to random strangers, so random payouts aren't ALWAYS to the same few wink.gif

The reason why people people believe these random payouts aren't so random is because we see the same list of names over and over again at so many different sites There are exception ofcouse, but it just makes you think...

No don't think that is the reason *L* I never win anything period so it does not surprise me that random payments don't come my way either could be in a program where the OP decides to give everyone a random payment that day!! and I would still be missed somehow *L*

Have won some things, but never a random payout. laugh.gif Well, after reading a few threads on random payouts, I've pretty much concluded that random payouts generally aren't random, but selected from a certain group of people. These group of people may be the WM's friends, or people who are the most active clickers (clicking contests at certain sites), or people who actively build downlines. Random payouts usually aren't for the little clickers who earn at the rate of $1 per month at a program because they don't have a downline. smile.gif I've stopped expecting anything, lol, because it's just not healthy to be disappointed over and over! I'll just keep clicking till I reach payout and actually click on the redeem button.

But good luck in getting yourself noticed by the WMs of programs you're in though! Promoting always helps, if you get noticed, you might get a random payout. smile.gif

The sad reality is, random payouts are made to the WMs friends and once in awhile to a regular member sad.gif

i dont want to say names but i see in random payouts list many members that repeat and casually many of them were PO and this PO made a random payout to same PO that paid him first. strange is of course. With thousands of members ......

I made the first random payouts in crazyladies last night and I can assure you they were randomly chosen from those who have selected random payouts..........I pay my members as soon as I receive a redemption request but only one member has ever posted in the forum that they received it so guess if there is an "inner circle" as a lot of you seem to think then they dont belong to crazyladies.

I have learned one thing since becoming a PO, you just cant do the right thing no matter how you try so I`ll just keep plodding along, at least I know I treat everyone fairly and I can sleep at night.

Very Very True.

I got a random payout from a site I hadn't been with for long. Never heard of this person, still don't know who they are. The random payout was all the cash I had. 55 cents and paypal took .23 cents. So don't get so upset about not getting your random pay. It is a nice offer but not always in the member's best interest.

Crazy fees. Ever thought about setting up a personal account, perhaps?
Ubekidn
It was my personal account....lol Any smaller payout and I would have owed them. hahaha

There might be sites that favour their friends, why not, that's only human, but I'm sure that a lot of sites are just plain picking random members to get a random pay.

Thing is: PO's are just members as well!! So when you pick a few members for a random pay-out, should you then exclude other PO's, even though they are just a normal member at your site, just to avoid people thinking you favoured them?

I think that its not only the reason to get random payout. Probubly many WMs pay to biggest promoters who have huge dowlines. So, they help to promote their programs futher...

I thought random payouts were the amounts that you currently had in your account. I don't think the $1 from payout would have made a difference. Maybe you should tell what the amount was that you got in comparison to the amount of what the payout would have been.
j0emama
well I have done random payout and I don't know any of my members except one.
What I do is I send out emails and ask who want its, and who has answered will get drawn. I f I have enough to pay them all I do but I only payout to those who say they want random payout either they email me back or post on my forum.
But yes I do see the same people on many sites getting random payout, I have yet to get one myself. blink.gif
Minty234
[I]That sounds fair, sending out a mail asking if they want in for a random payout.
KnightAngel
Add me to the list of never getting a random payout either. sad.gif Maybe someday smile.gif
