sigh, i am so clueless. i see people type in diff colors, how do you do that..hitting color doesnt do it....clue me in please?

first of all you do is highlight what word or words you want in color and then pick the color.
Or if you want to use a color that is not there, like grey, skyblue, magenta, violet, plum, and so on after you highlight the words just replace the color with a different one

will come out to look like this

Not all the colors in the crayon list work though, just try which ever color you want and if it shows up black then that color does not work. HOpe that helps ya some.

how do we find those ?

I was just choosing colour names listed in the font box in MSN:-

maroon, olive, navy, teal, silver, lime, fuchsia, aqua

You can also just pick any color you want and check to see if it works or not.
