A few weeks ago there was a problem of hits to mako cash flow not crediting.
It cleared up for awhile but now it's happening again.
Anyone else having this problem unsure.gif

Yes, I own a PTR and have a constant PTC set up for people to click and I can see people click it because the stats increase, but my MCF counter has been stuck at the same number for over a week now. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. I would never pay to advertise my link on other sites because it is so unreliable.

If I remember correctly Mako have their pay link on a popup. Anyone using a popup blocker of any sort will stop that from happening. Therefore you will possibly find that people are clicking the link, but blocking the popup, or restricting the site for some reason.

If you look on their forum, Steve made a post about a couple people that were cheating the system of at least $200 a piece, so Mako Cash Flow was turned off for a while. Check your hits again, they should be updating again, as MCF has been turned back on.

isnt that only for the click for cash links and not MCF?

MCF has screwed advertisers out of good money by keeping the site up and looking as though money is being earnd when it hasn't been.

This site is very badly run, and not very honestly, some would say.

For example, having the "Money has been earned" page visable makes you think that money has been earned when it wasn't. Webmasters reason was simply that even though site wasn't crediting, he didn't want us to stop not getting referrals.

Very weak - why didn't he email everyone saying "Don't advertise because we are being screwed by cheaters".

Instead he is screwing us.

Yeah, it was just an FYI.

Steve has been pretty busy, and a notice on the front page probably should have been in order, that MCF had been turned off. I'm not happy about it either, but there are over 17000 members and I doubt the cost for e-mails is not figured in the budget; of course there could be a whole lot of reasons.

As far as his scamming us, I don't think so, there is risk in advertising anything; but then again I don't spend a lot.

As in... we can now earn 1 point for clicking 100 links - and 1 point is worth how much? five one hundredths of a cent! - I'll pass on that thanks anyway! ROFL laugh.gif

There are also reports that Mako are sending out viruses/trojans in their popups again, so be careful about promoting mcf sad.gif Their advertiser TurboFind is owned by Standard Internet, the same people who run popuptraffic which has caused so many problems in the past. I've just blocked Mako at ViewSwap.

I used to chat with Steve and he seems like a nice enough bloke, but if he doesn't act quickly, he's gonna have to change that plagiarised tag line to "...the fastest SHRINKing GPT program on the net!" LOL!

Thanks for replies. smile.gif My stats still haven't moved in days.
Over in their forum they say all is fixed unsure.gif Not for me.

I think the person who mentioned pop up blockers it right. The site didn't fully load when I had my blocker on. When I took it off it loaded and I got 5 pop ups sad.gif
Not many traffic places support 5 popups.
I thought they said they had cut them to 2.
