does anyone know what happened to jamies magic mail? last i heard she was getting another site and promised she wouldn't abandon us. next i know we don't recieve any more ads and know when i go to the site it says its suspended.
can anyone give me any info?

Yes I would like to know what happened too. I emailed her a few days ago about why there was no emails(sent it to her site email). I also just emailed her using her AOL email address and I will see if she reads it then. I don't think she is the kind of person that would just disappear either. I have bought a couple of ads from he last week and she sent them out very quickly. I will let you know if I find anything out.

Bandwidth is the amount of traffic allowed per month almost...Depending on the amount of graphics etc, each visitor takes up more or less bandwidth

If you are talking about magiccash, then I had received an email from them a few days back that they are going to be "redemption for ad only" site and no redemption of cash! I have already quit the site. Nowadays, the WMs are very tricky, inscrutable and are doing nothing but loot and scoot. All members should beware and should go through this forum daily as a routine to keep abreast of the latest and to avoid pitfalls and loss.

Yes she was going to take over InBox Cash but went ahead and let Mistie take that because of these personal trouble...That was what Mistie send out in the site's mail..
Never heard a word from her personally...and have not received anyword from the site...
Lets just sit tight and waite...
Hopefully she will get back with us all soon..

The site still is unavailable with the ?exceeded bandwidth? message. I host with the same company, and I had this happen once. My upgrade with more bandwith was a matter of less then an hour, so I assume Jamie has other reasons that she cannot be available at the moment.

Just had to ditto those sentiments.
I'm giving it time, she's got to have a reason. Unfortunately, this is looking really bad to friends of mine who have just decided "Jamie has taken off and isn't coming back, etc" -- so I'm sure lots of other peple are thinking the same way.
Jamies is a VERY popular new PTR, I'm worried that this is going to make people iffy about it when she does get back.

I think it is time that we all face it. Jamie's is gone. She is still active in several PTR sites. If she had an emergency, I don't think she would have time to still do her own clicking, but not find a way to let her members know what is going on. If anyone knows anything different, please let me know. I would love to eat my words!

I do not want to assume the worst, I would like to give her a chance. I only hope that she does come back because I have over 950 in my downline and a balance of $88.00 there.

I really miss it too, it was one of my top 3 favorites. But I do have an uneasy feeling about this...but I'm going to keep crossing my fingers for everything to be okay
She finally replied to me although I was never a member and she was very rude (I can post the e-mail if you all wish) but she has supposedly given away the site and does not care what has been done with it........

Well I'm off to make a complaint to stormpay and her host, whatever good that will do. The site needs to be taken down to stop others paying for non existant advertising.

I hold a romanticized view of Jamies - my FIRST downline, my FIRST contest win, and so on and so forth. I've invested money there, too - advertising, earnings, working toward that coveted first downline, ad nauseum. It would be nice to be able to give her the benefit of the doubt, but I'm becoming more and more jaded. Her leave of absence may be completely legitimate. I guess that I will keep my "Eeyore" thoughts to myself and hold out for the best... I'm just bummed. 
I won't bite my tongue any longer. I just found out her username a couple days ago (jdubois78) and I checked the database for the program I'm helping out at and low and behold her last login was that very same day. I just checked again and her last login was today so yes, she's around, but obviously hiding out. So Jamie, why not come out and let people know that you are okay and you are still lingering around.

I doubt that we will ever see that site running again. I checked on whois and the site is still registered to Jamie. It has not changed names there. And you all are right. This totally stinks. I, too finally had my first REAL downline. Over 620 total and she owed me over $100.
But, on a lighter note. I want to thank the WM of Mystic-Ice-Mails for all of her help. When I explained what had happened, she generously offered to try and find out what happened. Which she did! Thank you Nicole! I know I have already told you this, but I don't think it can be said enough!! It is wonderful belonging to your site. This industry needs alot more honest WM's like you. Not saying that there are not honest WM's out there, because I know there are. But, with the handful of bad ones, it can make you leary of joining new sites.
OMG. so sad. I thought she's a nice webmistress. I'm reaching the payout soon.

Well frankly I dont think much of wm who "offer to take over" sites..
let them die off, that is the ONLY thing that will make ptr at all worthwhile..
Jamie, whoever she is, sounds like just one more jerk, I like the term loot and scoot..
as for anyone who was in her site, email the new wm and let them know you want to be paid and email jamie....she has essentially sold your personal info and that is crummy....it is against the privacy policy and the tos...
demand your money....enough of the personal problems..I am sure many of the members have personal problems too....demand your money and if they do not pay report any emails from them as spam since you did not join with this wm...
frankly this should be done to any takeover wm...I hope they all fail, and i hope others will join in and see they do...I know it is lousy to lose in a program but face facts...the takeover wm usually end up changing to ads only or not paying or closing or selling it again....

Rather than see a site "die" and my members get ripped off by someone I offered to take over the site.

what is the debt on the site???? do u know?? please name me what debt ridden sites did someone take over and just pay everyone off? or even what takeovers have been successful??
look at the track record...I think anyone who would takeover a site in debt is either a very bad businessperson or a very crafty person..period..there are too many sites as it is...
the implication is always "to help the members"...but that usually does NOT work out that way...look how many times we have seen these hot potatos flop...
and yes I will do all I can to see that hot potatoes are stopped...
sooo...do you have a personal reserve of money to just pay off anyone who does not want their info sold?? Is this your form of "charity"?? If not, I would say it is probably best to let the sites die..that is the ONLY way the "false economy" of the ptr industry will ever level out...
Hopefully the scriptwriters will get wise and stop the transfer nonsense, stop supporting transferred sites...but til then I think we can all do our part by doing all we can to stop hot potato game...I hope you will join in thanks

Its sad that JamiesMagicMail is gone. I had almost $30 or so dollars though. At least I think. Its been so long since I got to login last since her site is gone and the "new" owner hasn't done anything yet. I thought she was a better person than this too. I had bought ads from her and she always sent them out within 24 hours and was very kind in her emails to me. What cracks me up is though in one of her emails she sent she stated "We are here to say!". Well what do you know shes gone. I'm very tempted to call her and ask her what is going on. But whats the sense. She's gone I'm sure. Oh well I guess thats how some of these sites go. Which is truly sad.

I was a member under you for a couple of weeks, just didn't trust the prices of the ads and the site being around for payout. I do remember her sending an email that she intends to be around for a long time. Hopefully no PO's will pay her when she reaches payout and see how it feels.

Hi Wendy and all the rest of members from Jamies magic email,that's not so magic is like they try to sound.I had 56 dollars in mi account and a downline 34 good working members in first level and a 65 in second level.I try to loggin every day on every site that I'm member of,and Jamies was my second best programin my own top 15.Now they're dissapperead like snow in the sun,first there was something with they're bandwidth,and since yesterday is they're account suspended.
That means that we all are lost our money and refs,AGAIN SCAMMED BY A PTR!!!
Every PTR owner is always busy with cheatlinks and threats when you have 2 accounts they gonna delete you,but the most ptr owners are the biggest cheaters.
JAMIE,WHEN YOU READ THIS,WHY DO YOU LET YOUR MEMBERS DOWN!!!!
I hope that they are coming back,without a loss off our money or downline,but
in ptr country there is no hope with scamartists like jamies and many many others.

but I do ....as a matter of priniciple....dislike the takeover of debtridden sites....it stinks..and if anyone has a head for business they mostly likely can understand and agree with me...

I had a friend of mine PM me a few weeks ago asking my opinion on a couple of sites, one of them being Jamies...I looked at the site, and the ad prices, and told him I thought it didn't look sustainable with $5 signup bonus and what the ad prices were.

I'm new to PTRs (I've been on a couple for 2 months almost, Jamies only a couple weeks max before the site shut down), Jamies was the 4th I joined, and I only have $7.00 self earnings- BUT I had 12 or 13 referrals (don't even remember my total earnings), it was the only site I advertised, the only site I was very very confident about, even though I wasn't on long and I'm sure I'm not nearly as upset as those of you who had a lot of earnings there.
I'm upset about Jamies b/c I really thought she was the real thing- and I adored the site, and reading all of these things is a bummer...
I do wish that Jamie would respond to this thread to stop the gossip and explain a little bit... I can't stand reading all the "Jamie bashing" when she's not here to defend herself.

To Trench: That is really crappy of you to say. ALL WM's are NOT CHEATERS. Just because some are does not mean we all are.
