Somebody told me that if while signing up, we choose to read the emails on the site, they will send us less emails, is that true? It sounds crazy, but I wanted to make sure just in case... Also does anybody know why some sites don't send you any emails at all? Some that I signed up for like 3 days ago still didnt send me nothing. Is that suppose to happen? Thank you!!! rolleyes.gif

No way. Onsite e-mails simply send the e-mail to your PTR inbox instead of, or in addition to, your e-mail. What sites aren't sending you e-mails? Some sites I get mail from everyday, some only once a week or so.

If the sites you signed up for 3 days ago are new and in pre-launch they wont send emails until they launch.

or perhaps if you had them send them to your email address instead of the onsite inbox, the emails might be bouncing.

well from all I've read about Hotmail, they DON'T huh.gif but even if Hotmail does allow the emails, alot of sites WON'T send 'em to Hotmail addys because they DO bounce....late in January or so, alot sites sent emails that they wouldn't allow Hotmail addys any more. wink.gif

I don't even use my Hotmail addy for my personal mail....ain't worth the hassles for a 2 MB mailbox when I have another one that is 20 K laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

JMO on it though...have yet to EVER bounce an email, personal or ptr either one.

edited for typos coz I worked 9+ hours today and I'm just a tad on the tired side wacko.gif smile.gif

Yeah, you should not receive less emails reading on the on-site inbox blink.gif
