McCrawMail is blaming CAC scripts for the problems encountered such as incorrect earnings displayed & insufficient funds to pay his members.

Over this weekend, he will be doing data conversions, and uploading the new programs
on the website. From time to time the website may be unavailable.

If everything goes well, he will be sending the first email invitation to members to visit on Saturday.

The new McCrawMail pre relaunch notice.

First I would like to say an apology to everyone for several things
before I start to outline
the changes to expect soon. When I started McCrawMail back in January
it became
painfully evident that the website had problems. My first major concern
was fraud but as
time went on I discovered much better money losing features to worry
about than that. If
I had know the limitations and flaws of the Create A Click software
that powers the
website I would never have started. I would have would have been better
to flush the
$500 I paid for the website down the toilet and accepted the loss. But
moral duty to the
membership and the goal of providing a good paid to program told me to
attempt to fix it
rather than quit. This required me to find a programmer that could
accomplish the task,
and be able to do it on a budget and on terms that would be agreeable
to both of us. As
with any software development project there have been unexpected delays
due to issues
related to trying to fix the couple of major flaws and dozens of
smaller problems. Now
we are struggling through the last few challenges before the new
website goes into the
beta testing phase. Please understand I'm doing the best I can with
limited resources for
you the member.

The first thing to realize is this is a beta test this is not the final
product and there is much
more to come. There will be known errors and unknown ones. We will try
to advise you
of any known issues and progress on resolving them on the members home
page right
after you sign in.

In the past few weeks we have mostly been trying to resolve issues
relating to conversion
of your data. Your earnings and your upline sponsor are preserved which
are needed to
compute your earnings accurately. However there are holes where
sponsors are no longer
members and this leaves a loss of both members and earnings. It may be
a few more
weeks until all these issues have been resolved and a accurate database
can be
reconstructed. So when you log in and things do not seem right this
will be the case for
most every member that has referred other members, or done a
redemption. I ask you to
ignore these figures until word is put out that the database issues are
resolved and the
figures displayed are reasonably accurate. Many accounts may require
manual auditing to
make them right. So please bear with me as these problems are
discovered and worked
out.

Over this weekend we will be doing data conversions, and uploading the
new programs
on the website. From time to time the website may be unavailable, when
you click on
links they may not work, or they may give error messages. If you
encounter a error I
would recommend returning within 12 hours to try again. If you
experience the same
problem twice then please report it as it may be a issue we are unaware
of.

If things go well I hope to be sending the first email invitation to
visit on Saturday. This
will have more details on how things are going and the first surf link
to click for credit.
Until this email goes out do not click any ads as they may not be
credited to your account
after Midnight 00:00 Eastern Time or 9:00 PM Pacific Time when we
expect to make the
final conversion of your data to the new database.

I appreciate your patience in working through this time of change and I
hope you are as
pleased as I am with the results.

Best Wishes,
Kris McCraw

If he spent $5000 on it like he said he was going to do, then it better look friggin' holographic.

AGREED!
Chris Houlihan
He'll spend $5,000 on a new site, but he's too stingy to spend money on bandwith to actually send paid emails!?

What a joke!

Yawn!

Well we had better put our hands together and report them to PayPal for non-payment. The topic by gptgold is 1of the strongest evidence to tell McCrawMail is not treating & paying his members fairly & delayed payment longer than it is supposed to be. He used our money to invest in other programs.

How about that? If everyone agreed, post a Count me in here & later when I am done writing, I will send you a copy of what I will be complaining to PayPal so you can do something similar.

US$56 is the current amount he owned me, its not a small amount to me so I must chase after my money.

Moreover, I am more upset that McCrawMail choosen to ignore clarifying my question at gptboycott.com forum when I asked why he paid gptgold (my referrer) again when she requested payment much after me. Previous time McCrawMail said he pay those who have never been paid before 1st. Now what happened?

I don't personally have any money beefs with him (I've earned very little there, and have no downline), but I am far from impressed by the way he's been conducting himself over there at gptboycott.com. I was rather disgusted, although not entirely surprised, to see him just post the same generic message (about his new website opening) in every McCraw thread there. In none of these threads, with the exception of the one directly concerning his new site (which, I reiterate, better wash the dishes, do your taxes, and brush the dog at those costs), did posting that message have anything to do with the folder in which it was placed. People asked all kinds of good and relevant and important questions, and rather than answer them, he wimps out and just slaps that website announcement on there. Not good.

He's been reported twice that I know of so the more the better!

I don't have any complaints about payment, either, since I don't have hardly any earnings. His system is one big pain in the butt. And although I think dancing letters are cute, and his new look is great, it takes forever to load.

I don't have the patience to click on all sorts of links to get to a low paying ad. Heck, I don't have the patience to go through that for a high-paying ad...

But I think he ought to acknowledge people's complaints and he most definitely should pay members before he invests in more dubious improvements.

Well here is just one of the nasty emails I got from him, the first one I cannot find but all i did was ask why I was not getting emails and he wrote " buy an ad problem solved" and then when he raised the payout I had concern that i would never reach the 25.00 minimum, then he wrote this:

E-mail message

From: kris_mccraw@yahoo.com (Kris?McCraw) Date: Wed, Apr 17, 2002, 5:30pm (EDT-3) To: stephane569@webtv.net (Stephanie Hill) Subject: Re: Help
Hello,
The current situation is only temporary the terms and conditions will always change according to the current situation.
Even at $10 it will take more than a year to cash out. That is the reason there are other options for redemption such as the vacation certificate $5, and banner adversising $4.75, and click cashs ads $8. Plus there will be more added as the program expands.
Cash is ment for folks that refer other users. If you would like to increase your earnings I would recommend referring your friends and family, or takeing part in the referal pool.
The main goal of this program is to drive traffic to your website. If you don't have one then you should consider leaving the program.
Best Wishes,
Kris McCraw

Hi, I did not recv.a reply to my last email to you,so here it is again.
I feel I shall never reach payout because I am 43 and if most emails are
1 cent, there is no way I will live long enough to reach 25.00, are
there any plans to change this back and please not another mean reply, I
dont deserve that. oh and I dont do referral pools, I do not think I
need to spend more than I will probally ever make in my lifetime with
this site, so that is not an option for me, thanks

What a joke!

If he's got $5K to spend, why can't he pay the money he owes to members , it can't be more than a few hundred in total...
Chris Houlihan
Ya, exactly.

Scripts are pretty pricey, but I would have to be making a "helluva" lot of money on my program to spend $5,000. If this was spent, where did it come from?

Anyway Phase 2 of PH launches in June. I have installed some free scripts myself, I had to pay for some to be installed, and I had to buy some pro versions of some of the free scripts. This has come to around $600 total, including the programmer fee's. I didnt pay all that at once, I had to do it in steps.

Lol that comment I saw, it better be holographic, heck, yeah that, and glow in the dark too! LOL.

I can see the problem with the incorrect earnings being displayed, but there has been a script out to fix that for at least a month. The question I have is if the redemption level was set at 25.00, then why didn't he have something in reserve to pay people? I don't think I saw that many emails come out from him or maybe the click level was so low I didn't click...
vinitha
There's no excuse for replying that way to people. Even though he has a large membership, I'm sure he'll find that they will be much more inactive than they were in the past. Thats the price he'll pay.
summersun
well he'll loose members too if you ask me, at least i counted out there last week, he sends little to no paid emails, then you have to click too much of his cashclicks to earn anything. then he changes the t.o.s. anytime he feels like it.
I don't mind if i don't earn much from companies, but when he spends large amounts on investing and then comes to the conclusion he can't pay his members he is in my opinion gone one step too far.
kglaser
I agree--I think his actions will result in a significant decline in his membership.
