Anyone ever let the ETK popups load completely? I did today by accident... OMG!

Why? Are they X-rated or something? I couldn't see any popups when I just went to the site.

My popup killer is working overtime when i access the ETK site....

As I said in a different thread here.....I am sick of the pop-ups on ETK and another of Richards' sites.....1 pop-up yes....but he has gone way over board....and even on advertisers advertisements, which stop the advertisers page from loading.....not happy jan!!

I cant let them load they freeze my puter every time! They are a pain in the big FAT butt!...I thought LetterWealth was bad...theirs was nothing compared to EMTK

OMG....they freeze my puter too..sometimes i've resorted to NOT clicking on the ETK links just so i dont have to put up with them!

Well I don't normally even let popups load, but right after I clicked the paid link today I had to get up from the puter for a sec. When I came back I bout fainted at what was on my screen. Now I'm not easily offended but to click a paid link and to have to view what was on my screen really ###### me off. I posted it in the TKO forum. One of the mods says Richard knows about it and is going to take them off but to have a little patience. Hmmm... might I just warn you all to not let the ETK popups load if you have kids of any age in the room.

I have always loved ETK and had the upmost respect for Richard and the team.....I am at a lose to explain what is happening with ETK and the other associated sites at the present .......I too am not clicking on ETK links at the moment, as the pop-ups freeze my pc.....It just isn't worth it...Plus I am waiting on a payout......I redeemed 2 weeks ago.......but am willing to wait a bit longer before I e-mail them....I just wished they would acknowledge that they have recieved the request..

Oh, my...yes, I see what you mean now. When I just went to the site, I didn't see the popup, but when I read a paid link, I saw it and let it load to see what you were talking about. I must say, I'm shocked...I mean, I don't faint at dirty pictures or anything but I was shocked that they would allow that on their site with no warning or anything.

OK, I've just been to the TKO forums and Richard is aware of the popup, he is sorry about it, he was misinformed as to the nature of the popup when he put it on the site, and it's going to be removed.

Well I am sure Richard wasnt aware of the porno pop ups. I did PM Emchanted in the TKO forum to let her know IlovePops was a scam and referred her to a thread in this forum. Alot of people have complained about IlovePops because of the porn on them. I am glad they are off of there or are going to be taken off, but frankly I complained about that and informed them about a week ago at least...a shame they wait so long could have really hurt business...I hope not I like EMTK

Just as an FYI. I recently went to their paytoclick page and clicked on all 4 links as well as checked earnings page. I also had 2 emails from them this afternoon and had a grand total of 1 popup. I didn't let it load so I am not sure what it was. But the popups seem to be pretty much gone now.

Enchantress I pm'd you at TKO and never received a reply. I was shocked when I went to the past links section and found that I haden't received any of these and don't tell me they bounced because my hotmail is automatically downloaded and cleaned out every 2 hours

I have a similar problem with email from them.

1. They sometimes use a different from addresses for the paid email, so some don't get filtered properly into the right folder in my email box.
2. I sometimes use the email links on the web site and surprised to find them pay more times than not which means I don't get all emails.
3. The popups downgraded the site in my opinion and is now lower on my list and in priority order in my email folder.

I have forwarded your pm to Richard. I will ask him to check it up again. He is working on the ETK and Paid2Read sites at the moment. Sorry I did not reply you. I have about 50 pms everyday for some reason or another and trying to sort them out as quickly as possible. Sorry again for not replying you.

I think it is unfair of you to comment that the pop ups downgraded ETK in your opinion. Richard would never ever intensionally make money by sending porn pop ups to his members. He values him members very much. It is unfortunate that ilovepopups have porn in them when they assured Richard that there is no porn.

You can ask DGE (Suzanne) if I am not telling the truth. She asked and I suggested Richard to use exitpaid instead of ilovepopups and the first question he wanted me to ask her was "is there any adult stuff? If so, I am not interested". Richard always tries to make his members happy, isn't that what every webmaster is striving to do? They would never do anything to intensionally drive their members away or make them unhappy.

Enchanted.....I am saying that the pop-ups have bought ETK down...not for the porn (as I didn't see any...due to pop-ups locking my pc up!)...It is the amount of pop-ups that ETK has on the site....and on the paid links......There are way too many...no-one minds one pop-up.....but not one on every page, when I am trying to see if my balance is right...or if I have been credited for a sign-up (which I am...have been for over a month now)......I am even more perplexed that you have pop-ups on advertised links......they make it so the advertisers page does NOT load fully...but the timer runs out...there for we can click out, once we recieved payment....but the advertiser has been ripped off....as his page has not been viewed....I would NOT buy an advertisement at ETK at the moment...due to that!

I have always liked ETK....and I can understand the need to generate some extra money....but, you have to think of your members and advertisers when putting things on your site...that slows everything down sooooo much....I am on adsl......so if someone is on dial-up......the poor things!

As you all know Richard is one of the best Webmasters around, He does listen
to his members, I beleive he has things in hand and is sorting all problems out.
The porn situation was not of his making, ILovePopups has a lot to answer for.
I only hope other Webmasters/Webmistresses are taking note on this.

Well I was really PO'd the day I got these and threatened to quit if it wasn't taken care of by the next day. I'm not usually that quick to jump, must have been a bad day. But I appreciate Richard taking care of it and I feel bad for him about ilovepops.
