I've been a PO for about 1 1/2 months now, and know there are many other newbies out there as well as potential PO's... Is anyone interested in a New PO forum? I could list it as a private folder at my site's forum. I think the time frame should be 1st site opened less than 3 months.

If there is any interest, I'll start it. You would just need to join my forum (linked from my site) and PM me with your ID so I can give you access...

Edited to Add: I think access should also be allowed for those who are considering/preparing to open their own site...

Why?

To discuss ideas, pool resources, whatever else may come up! Just for PO's with similar issues & dilemmas to talk them over with each other.

I notice alot of time new PO's come here with questions, and get berated and left with the notion that if you don't know everything then you shouldn't be running a ptr.
freeandeasy
I already have one. It has tutorials and everything.
Sander Tromp (gold4less), writes a lot of cc modules that he posts over there (and does them by request, too).

freebiesite
HI....cute puddy there free and easy LOL>>>

yes please post the url of the forum..

alex...maybe another forum not needed...also ...putting a restriction like "3 mo" and under is kinda unproductive...without more experienced wm who will give advice?? and like...once you are open 3 months will you post or not be able to <grin>
seems about as counter productive as the under 500 gang...or websites who took "cutting edge" domain names like

"freebies1999" or "crafts2000" haha

think ahead think ahead smile.gif

any url for a different forum is appreciated tho thanks

I'm really quite undecided about this issue. I'm a member of Freeandeasy's forum, but I must admit I haven't been there much lately. The last time I did visit it I think nobody had posted for quite some time.

At the same time, with my new cashcrusader.info site, I added forums to it with exactly this in mind (forums for Program Owners and related issues).

But also at the same time, I think there are already too many forums for a person (well, me, anyway tongue.gif ) to keep up with. It seems to me that every second PTR program now has its own forums, and quite a few are reasonably busy. If a person was a member of just 10 programs that had their own forums, plus GPF, that's already an awful lot to keep up with.

I just don't know what to do sad.gif

Ideally I would like to join forces in some way if possible, but I don't have any specific suggestion to that end. unsure.gif

I just tried to request my password from Free's forum and it won't recognise my username sad.gif
