No babies for me.
I'm 19, will be 20 next week.
Now, my mom, she turned 16 then had me 2 months later.

How she did it, I don't know. I remember when I was 16 thinking to myself "What would I do if I had a baby ...?"
She did it though ... and here I am!!

I'm sorry but I disagree, no one needs to answer even if voted. Some people like to keep some things private. If neither of those people answer then it's their choice to keep it to themselves, you can't demand them to answer why they got pregnant so young, you never know what happened
I have a friend who got raped when she was very young and got pregnant because of it, she had to give the baby up for adoption..... so you can imagen she doesn't like to talk about it very much, it hurts her to even think about the fact that the baby she never saw (well for the small glimpse while giving birth) is now on second grade and she has no idea how the child looks like or if she's in a good family, what her hobbies are etc

My mom was also young when she had me (teen pregnancy sort of "runs in the family" heh) and i wouldnt trade her for anyone. it's nice that we can relate since we're not too far apart in age. comparing her to other moms i know if, it seems she remembers more what it's like to be young than others, and is a lot more understanding and open-minded.
i hope to be the same kind of mother for my daughter.
i have a great job, a great home, and a great husband, i couldnt ask for more!
glad to hear your success story

It's an retoric way to say they'd fight for anything and everything.
Lint is the stuff you can find inside your wallet, inside the washing machine or in your belly button
usually comes from dust, fibers that come out of fabrics and other stuff

It hasn't been easy. They fuss and fight over everything. But on the other hand, they stick up for each other too.
I had a "horrible" punishment for them when they were younger and would fuss with each other. I'd make 'em sit in the hall with their arms around each other. They couldn't talk or move. They just had to sit there side by side with their arms around each other's shoulder. LMAO. The way they acted when I did that, you'd have thought I was the meanest mom on earth.. ROTFLMAO.

The only reason I think, now, this is my personal opinion....there aren't more very young people out there that have babies, and for those of who didn't get pregnant before they were married, or actually ready to have children, is LUCK, plain and simple. Well, unless you didn't have sex, but for those that did, that is the only reason.

Also what it does to a girls health. Kids that young shouldn't be having babies - they are still kids themselves.
I was 27 when I had my first - and only - I turned 27 three days before she was born - so now we celebrate our birthdays together.
I envy those of you who still have young kids - my 'baby' is finishing her senior year in high school.

Our little angel was Michael Robert.
It's depressing at times, but to honor his memory, I have a tiny birthstone ring with his birthstone (garnet) in it on a chain along with the girls' birthstones.
Were really not sure why he didn't survive.
I also have had his birthstone added to my Mother's ring. Just because he isn't here on earth with me, doesn't mean I am no less his Momma!
