I'm sorry you lost your dog. It's a really hard thing to go through. I had a little puppy I called shadow because he followed me everywhere. One day he just disappeared. He was an inside dog, but he ran out when the door was opened. I think he ran out when my niece opened the door and she didn't see him and someone grabbed him.

I am soooo sorry. It does get easier as days go by if you remember the good times you shared together.

I am also truly sorry for your loss. At least Bosco is no longer in pain and she is running free and happy while she waits for you to cross the bridge together. When I lost Scruffy back in April I cried every night for two weeks and even now when I think of him I want to cry. I had Scruffy for 13yrs also, he was 14 when he passed on.

We honored his life by adopting Lestat who would've been put down at our local humane society the following morning because his time had ran out and there was no room for him. So even though I lost my best friend, we were able to save Lestat and he has became the most wonderful boy. We also now foster dogs and we do it in Scruffy's name, because he was abused before we got him and when we saw all those dogs at the humane society (over 80) we knew we had to do something to help out.

Had it not been for Scruffy who was also always a very giving dog, I don't know that I'd be helping other dogs now. I truly miss Scruffy and I can't wait to see him again but he did his job here on earth by being my best friend and also by opening my eyes as a kid to the cruelty some animals suffer.

I'll say a prayer for Bosco tonight and just remember she's now pain free and happy and playing with her friends while she waits for you. Just remember all the happy times you spent together and that she loves you.

OMG mrssal....I feel for you, I just lost my dog monday afternoon and I'm still inconsolable ... I until having read your post, didn't felt enough courage to post it here.
My Saturn was 15 years old and he was the best friend I ever had. I don't know his real birth date but it was in 10/89
It was a nice and intelligent dog, very sensitive...
We sadly had to pique him down as he was suffering to much and since 2 days he was not able to stand up alone anymore...
Maybe he will meet your Bosco...I hope so!
May they rest in peace and be thanked for all the unconditionnal love they gave us...
