Another program that picked up a poor business tactic. :mad: If they compensates us by improving referral structure or drop minimium payout then it is not so bad.

40% - 5% - 5%
$25 payout

Now I will stop promote WePaid, I rather promote AdClickMail ($5 payout, 2-3cents paid e-mails & LetterWealth.

poor business tactic? What would have been a poor business tactic was to keep paying 4 cents and go bankrupt in a month. Then you all would have been here complaining that they shouldnt have paid 4 cents.

no.. wepaid recently have applyed bad business ethics, they have been taking earnings away from members, if the company is legit, they dont take earnings from members dont take referals from members and cover it up with some lame excuse (a guy had all 12 of his referals taken, we paid respond by saying oh they must have been pending even though he can prove 3 of them weren't), and all the reports u've been seeing on here of lost earnings and referals, and now they reduce their paidmails by half, i think they deserve all the slack they get, bravo FA.

If they were a fuly legitimate company and reduced their paidmail earnings in order to stay afloat and payout members i'd be fully understanding but they're dodgy and are giving themselves a very bad name after such a good start

Same with me, i just changed my paid mail at monster-email and cashread from wepaid to adclickmail. They've done everything right from the start and are a very trustworthy company as far as payment goes.

You have no rights to tell me what news reporters should & should not to report, don't PM me again telling me not to report news about your programs unless you tell me. If it is of public interest, I will report even if you didn't tell me. This is the news reporters' job, I am sure you can't stop television news reporters from reporting negative information about companies in the local newspaper too right? If I don't post, another news reporter may report too.

I am not going to delete your above post so more people can see what you are. News Reporters have guideline set by lgwong to follow to report news, we can't post any news we desire. We are not restricted to just give positive opinions.

If you remember before the owner stated before in company support folder...someone asked how can he affort to pay so much, He said most people will not reach payout so he will not worry.

Now he made earning even harder, so its a bad business tactis. He didn't even apologise in the e-mail for that.

If you create a poll, you will see how many people are unhappy with the decision.

1. The owner said he could afford it (as FA said) a few days before he is saying he cant afford it now.
2. He's already raised payment from $20 to $25 without alerting members.
3. If he's going to keep bringing down his company, he maybe should've thought about things when he launched and projected he wouldn't be able to afford it, but he assured us he could, which was a lie.
4. he's taking earnings from members
5. he's taking referals from members (some of which are legit, some aren't)
6. he's giving his company a very bad name

Not to defend venomx as I think the term "half-twits" was a little harsh, he could have at least given the reporters credit for being full-twits (j/k) :smile:

I do think it's better for WePaid to lower to 2 cents if it means people get paid than to leave it at 4 cents and not pay...

As for the news posts, I think the reporters should stick to the facts and refrain from personal opions/info, at least in the original post. When FA says it's "poor business" that's his opinion. When he says he'll stop promoting the program, that's his personal business. Neither belong in the original news post, IMHO.

Dropping from 4 cents to 2 cents in very obvious from the very beginning. I never think that it will be possible to paid members 4 cents a email. If there is 2500 clickthru, this is already $100!

The 4 cents is probably use to attract new members. They have already got 13000+ members, so they no longer need to pay 4 cents. Very rarely do members unsubscribe from these service.

They are now still only charging $35 for a Paid email to all members, even if they got 5000 clickthru (a reasonable value), they still have a cost of $100, not counting the referral earnings.

Many of these webmaster do not consider the unpaid members earning an expense. Obviously thejudge have this in his mind, so he claimed that he can still afford 4 cents a email.

In my opinion, if you are really thinking that your members accumulated earning will really be payout, you need to consider those an expense. Even 2 cents could not last unless they are raising the minimum payout further.

Please do delete my posts. Remember I have a few THOUSANDS I can inform how this place is a scam and I can buy ads on other sites too.

And for your info they have paid Karen from AdClickMail once and are almost ready to pay her again. Scam? I think not.

FA what about you cheating on that CAC? 4 of you with the same hong kong IP yet 2 of the others were from the US? How did 2 US members get an IP in HK?

I don't see any reason why he want to be biased on not reporting news for some particular site. There are others around including me could do the job. TJ also has the authority to start a thread here.

I agree that on the news reporting point of view, giving a comment is not too appropriate. If most of you think that newreporter should not comment on the news, we could just put our comment on the follow up posting. But as Brenda has said this is not NY Times, we just want to express opinion on different subject.

I have given you a very clear guideline before you start here. Everyone here need some respect, if someone else do something wrong, 1st advice, then warned, then delete and finally banned. Did you get my message? You start deleting things before the first two things have been done. You are removed from being a mod because you are not following the guideline and abusing your position of a mod.

So far I have only deleted spam and those post that do not follow guidelines in the downline thread here. I didn't even delete any bad things that you or other have said. You don't need to threaten us by sending a email every where. People will judge themselve.

My only job is to just to post news, I do not care about your personal opinions good or bad, etc. Did you read all the above posts? I think not.

I am just following a guideline which lgwong given as to what should & should not be posted in 'news' section. It has nothing do with my personal likes or dislikes. If its something I think is of public interest, I will post, it is just up to individual if they think it is of public interest. Not my personal interest, there are news here which I report but I am not a member.

Members can post in other folders as they please.

By the way, it is not just me, other members has something against venomx.

FA, maybe you should reread my post. 1. The twits comment was a joke (thanks to Brenda for getting it :smile: ). 2. I'm not against opinions in this folder because I then state mine that 2 cents is ok with me. 3. I merely suggested that the news reporter's personal opinion or business should not be in the ORIGINAL post on the subject. Post the news, immediately post a reply saying you think it's poor business and you won't promote it anymore. Still my opinion that the news should be the only thing in the original post, but like lgwong said, this is not the NYTimes and maybe some of you (including venomx) take things a little too seriously.

Where have I been defending venomx in various folders? I replied in this one, not defending him, just stating my opinion. I replied in one other thread, defending his program's right to require personal clicks because I like the idea that someone actually (gasp!) READS the ads I pay for, and because it's easy to get .50 of personal clicks in his program. I said I like his sense of humor, I also like Rhea's sense of humor (must run and join PocketJingle cuz Brenda sounds fun too). Um, I think there's another post of mine where I say that I like that he sends links to all, that's my greed talking :smile:

You want me to defend venomx, here goes: As a program owner his customer support is great. He has answered every email I've sent him within a few hours. He even nicely answered a rather stupid question I asked. When I bought an ad, not only was it up in a few hours, but he sent me a personal email to tell me so. As a person in this forum, I think he sometimes (often?) writes things before thinking it through, but he's certainly not the only one who does that. Because if all of you carefully think before you post, then I'd have to say that a lot of you are... well, nevermind :smile:

OK. Anyway let's all please post comments/suggestions in the appropriate folder 'Get Paid Forum Issue' folder' instead of here which not all news reporters/admin read, all the mods/news reporters will more likely read there. :biggrin:
