Hi there.
Just a quick note before the main topic. I have wrote this mainly to inform anyone who plans to move to, or lives in Spain and wants to do GPTR, to avoid these companies. I know this is not a GPTR topic but it is thought out to advise people.
Also the connections are dial up however the second, TERRA, is ment to be 24hrs and out of those 24 I in fact can only connest 18.
Well heres the topic. It is also translated into Spanish (sorry for any errors).

Hello Everybody.
I just wanted to advise you all if you plan to move to Spain or are living in Spain about 2 ISP which are totally useless. These companies are Telefonica and Terra.

I started with telefonica, as the are the phone comapany but in the end gave up. They were charging me for internet connection on both my lines and everytime I changed lines I had to change DNS. This worked ok at first then I started to get a lot of errors at the time of connection, and a friend suggested to switch to Terra as I only have to pay for 1 line and I would not have to change DNS.
So I started December 2003. As with Telefonica the service was ok at first but in the last 2 weeks I have nothing but login failures and disconnections. They have admitted to having a fault with there servers but cannot tell me when this will be fixed although yesterday I was quoted 3 days!!!
Also when I have phoned I get different stories and they have made me change my IE configuration so many times that I have no choice but to restore a security copy.

I am going to be phoning other ISP companies today to find yet another company and I hope to have better luck.

So if you come to Spain avoid those 2 like the plague. And if you live in Spain as well.

Yo apenas quise aconsejarlo todos si usted planea mover a Espa?a o est? viviendo en Espa?a aproximadamente 2 ISP que son totalmente in?tiles. Estas compa??as son Telefonica y Terra.

Yo empec? con el telefonica, como el es los comapany telef?nicos pero en el extremo se rindi?. Ellos estaban cobr?ndome por la conexi?n del internet en mis l?neas y " everytime que yo cambi? l?neas que yo ten?a que cambiar DNS. Esto trabaj? al principio entonces ok que yo empec? a conseguir muchos errores en el momento de conexi?n, y un amigo sugiri? para cambiar al Terra cuando yo s?lo tengo que pagar por 1 l?nea y yo no tendr?a que cambiar DNS.
As? que yo empec? el 2003 de diciembre. Como con Telefonica el servicio era al principio el ok pero en las ?ltimas 2 semanas yo tengo fracasos del login y disconnections nada m?s que. ?Ellos han admitido a tener una falta con all? los servidores pero no puede decirme cuando esto se arreglar? aunque ayer yo me cit? 3 d?as!!!
Tambi?n cuando yo he telefoneado que yo consigo las historias diferentes y ellos me han hecho cambiar mi configuraci?n de IE tantos tiempos que yo tengo ning?n selecto pero para restaurar una copia de seguridad.

Yo voy a estar telefoneando otras compa??as de ISP hoy para encontrar otra compa??a todav?a y yo espero tener la suerte buena.

As? si usted viene a Espa?a evita esos 2 como la plaga. Y si usted tambi?n vive en Espa?a.

Antes tenia terra he iba muy muy bien, ahorra me he pasado a ya.com solo por razones de precio.

First, I'd like to greet everyone living in Spain (especially if you live in Catalonia )
Second, my experience with different companies has made me think that all of them have their ups and downs. Now I'm using Auna-cable with a 300 Kbps but sometimes it goes slower than a 56 kbps connection!!! A month ago, I couldn't connect for almost a week - it was horrible , as I receive more than 200 e-mails each day, you can imagine... But friends of mine tell me about their problems with other companies and it doesn't matter at all which one you use!!! So, if you live in Spain either you have lots of patience or you you go back to the caverns

Now, I translate it into two Spanish languages... (there are more, but these two are the ones I use every day)

Ara estic usant Auna-cable (la antiga Menta) amb una velocitat de 300 Kbps pero a vegades la connexio va mes lenta que una de 56 Kbps!!! Fa un mes ni tan sols vaig poder connectarme durant quasi un setmana - va ser horrible perque rebo mes de 200 e-mails al dia, aixi que ja us podeu imaginar...Pero amics meus m'han parlat dels seus problemes amb altres companyies i sembla que no importa quina usis!!! Aixi que aqui on vivim, o tenim paciencia o tornem a les cavernes
