QUOTE
I am sorry - I have never done this before - write a complaining - non paid - email about one member.

I have run a number of adverts for ADPLACING ads - where we - emailsformoney - get paid For people signing up for leads.

WE originally ran these ads paying you - the members - to visit the advertiser. Someone reported us as incentivising the ads - this was a very grey area as we were in no way incentivising ther sign ups - for which we got paid. We were against the absolute letter of ther terms, thougb plenty of people incentivise ADPLACING ads - for example using page exchangers like clickthru.

However, we agreed with adplacing that we would not run their ads as paid ads, but would still run as member ads - where there is no reward even for visiting the site.

Now one of our members has reported us again and adplacing - without even finding out the story - have cancelled our account, owing us (and you - the members) $150. I wouldn't mind if they questioned what we had done, but they have taken this members word as gospel! I cannot believe that they have acted as judge jury and executioner without even hearing from the accused!!

What is worse is this member. We are not even incentivising the visits to adplacing ads. We are not by any means in any sort of violation of the terms. Yet this member obviosuly has it in for us - and goes behind our backs to Adplacing without asking us what we are doin. This member is at best totally wrong in this case - and at worse totally malicious.

So - this member whoever you are - I hope you are reading this. Write to adplacing as you ahve got the story wrong! If you write to us too, we will keep you in the program and try to explain the meaning of incentivising adverts (its pretty obvious that just including a link to an advert without even paying for that link is not incentivising!). We have asked adplacing for your name and when we get it if you don't own up, you are out.

Other members, please support us by writing to liz@adplacing.com - we have not in the last two months incentivised ANY of adplacing's adverts. THis member has by his or her incorrect (or malicious) actions robbed emailsformoney (and indirectly our members) of $150. We can take that hit, but why the heck should we?

Thank you for reading - excuse spelling _ I am very angry!

I think this is a grey area. EmailsForMoney pay user for joining their mailing list. So even the ad is in an unpaid email, it is some form of incentive sign ups. Its really up to the advertiser whether they will consider this as incentive sign ups.
