I keep getting advertisements for purchasing bubbles? What are they and their purpose? I just doesn't make sense to me... I know this is prolly a stupid question but I'm willing to take that chance..

Bubbles are basically a form of gambling, or maybe really inexpensive multi-level-marketing. You purchase a bubble for, say 15 cents in eGold. Your bubble will be displayed on a list with a link of your choice until it pops. When it pops you get back your original 15 cents plus a percentage.

Whether it pops or not depends on whether enough people buy bubbles after you. It will take at least two new bubbles to pop you out. It will take four bubbles to pop those two out, etc. The number of bubbles needed to pop previous bubbles grows exponentially. Some bubble sites are timed. That means that if no one spends, after awhile the bubble will restart and everyone who still has a bubble on the list loses their cash. Some bubbles aren't timed. Those that aren't usually experience a flurry of activity at first and then stall out. There's no guarantee that your bubble will pop, so if you choose to play, don't spend more than you're willing to lose. Some bubble sites have disappeared without giving any reason, so be wary. Also, there are no stupid questions. smile.gif

sterling rewards has a good bubble.....you can place your earnings in the bbubble and get 150 percent back..........since its not out of your own pocket, there is no harm in trying...

Cool, this is helping me, I was wondering what bubbles were.

Now, I have to find out if I have to pay it with paypal or just with my cash earn (which sounds better to me). But that info can be hard to find, these sites are often not clear to read.

PTR sites usually use your own earnings for the bubble. If you're not sure, ask your webmaster. Also, I believe bubble sites are against Paypal's terms. Not that you'll find many that use Paypal anyways. Their fees would eat away any profit you'd see. eGold has a much smaller (and far more reasonable, IMO) payment fee.
