Does anyone know how to fix it when your homepage is hijacked in Microsoft Explorere??

To get rid of the bug you first need to find it in your computer and distroy it, run SpyBot and AdAware through, either one of those should ultimately find the bugger,
if you just go and change the homepage url it's still gonna switch to the bad one every time you restart your computer so you really need to get rid of the highjacker!

When was the last time you updated either of the programs? They might not find newer buggers if it's been awhile!
Hope you get it sorted out, we had one couple weeks ago

Yeah I updated them both. Well I just downloaded the adware and spybot is updated.

This is aggrevating.

Go to the forum in my sig. and they should be able to help you...
They'll get you to do a scan with HiJackThis (which you'll find in the forum) and then post your scan results...someone will look over your results and tell you what needs to be removed...
Hope this helps

You know, you actually have to go into your settings and change it to see if you fixed it... it's not gonna automatically revert back to the old one.

Try the easyest first. Change your homepage back to whatever you want. If it dosent changes again after you reboot you dont have any hijacking progs on your comp.
You might just have visited a web page that have changed your homepage with the Set.HomePage method, working on IE 5 and later.
