Where do I start? How do I know if a program is good? What do you suggest?
The idea of ptr programs is very appealing to me... but everywhere I go seems like all the ads are for more ptr programs and of course I keep hearing that the more you join the better off you are. So because of that I feel like I have to sign up for every ptr program that is in my paid emails...so its a never ending line and I end up with 1000 ptr programs and lets say 1,000,000,000 emails that number one hotmail can't hold and number two there isn't enough hours in a day much less could I stay awake long enough to read a billion messages without recieving a billion more before I finsh reading and clicking through just 100.... I hope that reading this is making you head spin as much as mine is... Another problem I have is how do you know if a program is "too good to be true" I'm afraid after doing $200 dollars worth of reading I won't get a dime. Now I do know that there is a bit of trail and error and that someone will have to be the one to not get paid at one time, but how can I prevent that or atleast make that situation mimiumal? I was reading a little bit of the complaints and I noticed that just about all the ones I signed up for (I plan to unsub) are listed in that folder...After seeing alot of this stuff for about 2 weeks the ptr idea doesn't seem appealing anymore... I just don't see where all the trouble is worth or is it just me making it harder than it really is? sad.gif Also, what are some "good" "newbie friendly" programs... *Without flooding the forum, hehe*

Hi glowyangel smile.gif

Have a read in the "praises and applause" folder, you can see who's in there most often and who pays out. Also, just a hint, but remember people are often a little quicker to complain than praise and just because a program is in the complaints, doesn't mean it is bad - often it's just a mis-understanding, of course there are exceptions.

Some good reliable programs are Aprils Gold, Santa's Paid Emails, AYS...I'm not a member of any of those, simply cause I don't have time lol, but hear lots of great things about them biggrin.gif You can join them in the "dowline builder" forum.

The only other thing I'd say really, is think realistically... have a look at the ad prices before you join a site - if you can buy a 10 cent to 5000 for $1 then it's likely they're not gonna pay wink.gif

Hope that helps a bit. PTR is a lot more friendly than it seems lol - we're not all scams smile.gif

Yea I'm working on reading alot through the forum.... I was in the praises about which companies were paying, was going to print ---- 50 pages is alot... hehe
my main problem I'm noticing is that it seems like you have to join so many to make a dime... and that is kinda what bothers me..

If you join a few good programs and build a downline, you can earn a good amount without too much work - I think it's better to stick with just a few and concentrate on advertising them, rather than join 100 and have 1 or 2 people in your downline at all of them. smile.gif

Wow you must be one confused newbie, but don't worry I'll try to answer some
of your questions. Here we go.

You asked:
"How do I know if a program is good? What do you suggest?"

- Remember, there is no such thing as a perfect program, we as people have
personal problems that needs to be dealt with and ptre is no different. Some
ptre takes time to pay members, some don't pay at all. If you are new I
would recommend 1 program with 5,000 members and 1 program with 20,000
members. You need to educate yourself. If you are new to ptre, you need
to visit as many forums dedicated to ptre industry and take notes.

If you expect to get rich with these programs, forget it. If you are looking
for a program to pay you the next day after you requested payment? nice try, it
won't happen. The way I look at it, it's free money, it's no different than finding
a 20 dollar bill on the ground. How often does that happen, when was the last
time you say money on the ground?

You asked:
"I keep hearing that the more you join the better off you are. So because of that I"
feel like I have to sign up for every ptr program that is in my paid emails..."

- If you only have 15 minutes a day of clicking paid emails, it doesn't make sense
for you to join 10 ptre programs and can't open all the email messages. Only
do what you can then decide if you need to join more or less.

You asked:
Another problem I have is how do you know if a program is "too good to be true" I'm afraid after doing $200 dollars worth of reading I won't get a dime.

- I'm not sure what you mean "too good to be true" but the general rule is If a
ptre program have paid their members before, there is a good chance that they
will pay again. If 1-3 months takes too long for you to get paid, these ptre
programs is not for you, I suggest you find a different program.

You asked:
I was reading a little bit of the complaints and I noticed that just about all the ones I signed up for (I plan to unsub) are listed in that folder...After seeing alot of this stuff for about 2 weeks the ptr idea doesn't seem appealing anymore... I just don't see where all the trouble is worth or is it just me making it harder than it really is?

- If it doesn't appeal to you now, I assure you it will never appeal you at all.
Once you have told your subconsious mind that you can't trust the ptre industry,
you are probably right. If you tell your subsconsious mind that maybe some of
these program might work and takes time to get paid but at least I will get paid
eventually, you are probably right also.

My suggestion to you after reading your post is, don't join any ptre programs if
your heart is not going to be in it, you will be sadly dissappointed.

Good luck to ya!!!!

As a newbie to paid to read sites myself, I would suggest allyousubmitters. I have reached the $50 payout twice, already. Payments take awhile to receive, but you can reach payout often (and hey, free money is free money, no matter how long it takes to get it.) Every paid to read email they send out is worth 5 cents. And you have the option of receiving them in your site inbox only so that you are not clogging up your hotmail account (which most PTR sites won't accept anyways).

Without doing much advertising I already have 50 some referrals in my downline. If you don't feel that you have the time to build a downline, take your first $50 and parlay it into an executive membership and let them build your downline for you. After that reaching payout monthly will be easy.

Congratulations,

It looks like you had a plan and you stuck with it.

Great Job.

I think you're probably better off spending some more time reading here before joining any more sites, and then pick a few of the best.
But note that things change a lot in GPT world, so any post older than a few weeks may already be inaccurate. Thus I'd say: read some recent threads here (praises folder, complaints folder, general folder) and you'll be updated on which sites and WMs are worth your effort.

I joined a ton of sites in the beginning, but I earn most from just a handful of good ones with reliable WebMasters. Many have disappeared on me or slowed down a lot.
hardkaare
Hey

Im making a php site where I test the programs im in where you can see the rates I get in each program :-)

If you going to sign-up use the downbuilder thread, then you get some refs :-)

One suggestion I haven't seen listed is to check the support folders of the sites listed for questions/problems and the promptness in answering them.

Good Luck - Cheri smile.gif
