He said that anyone who wanted to continue to be in his program had to send him his or her telephone number, as he said he was fed up with the cheaters and he was going to use the phone number to call the person and verify that that person wasn't cheating before he paid him or her.
I was one of the maroons who gave him a phone number. I figured, hey, I've given my phone number to other sites in the past, reasoning then (as now) that if someone wants to find out my telephone number, it wouldn't be too terribly hard to get it. I screen every single one of my telephone calls anyway, and for that matter I'm online most of the time and only have one phone line anyhow. Sure, I'm kinda angry about what happened, but I don't believe for a second that people who wanted to find out my telephone number couldn't find it out somewhere else online. It isn't unlisted or anything like that.

that is soooo true... how do you think telemarketer's get our phone numbers... At one time or another you voluntarly give out your phone number and it get's sold.... Ya know I wish I could get money every time they sell my number!!! Luckily I have caller id so if anyone calls me it tells me and if I don't know them then they talk to my answer machine. Plus my number isn't private so anyone who know's my hubby's name can get it. And if were private I wouldn't be giving it out... I tell you what I do like the Telezapper... It works wonders I think it costed about 50.00 I bought from a tv commercial but they have it in certain stores and I think you can get online somewhere.. If you don't have it get it... I tell you if a telemarketer calls you and it's a computer dialed call they zap it.. lol.. They send a message to that computer to tell them your number is disconnected which deletes it out of the system. It only works if the computer dials your number not if someones dials it with their fingers. But it limits the amount of telemarketing calls I get. Ya know the ones that says "please hold for an important message" I get a kick out of those.. If it was so important why make me hold... One time to be mean I waited and when the person come on the line I said "please hold for an important message and hung up" ha ha give them a taste of their own medicine... lol
