GPTRs are an easy way to make a little money. You won't get rich with them, but be honest, is clicking a few links really what you would call hard work?

The vast majority of program owners are like us, trying to make some money. They aren't out to cheat us out of a few cents.

Your earnings build slowly. Do yourself a favor and don't hover over your accounts by checking your balance every time you click a few e-mails. Do you visit your bank or credit union every day to see how your savings account balance is accruing interest?

Secondly, we have all (or nearly all) experienced unforeseen computer glitches. They are aggravating and a major pain to fix. Program owners are subject to these same problems. Try chilling out when a program encounters a computer problem. Wait a little while and cool off before firing off an irate e-mail to a program owner because you can't log in to the site or your earnings look to be a little "off."

Let's all be a lot more compassionate towards one another. In the grand scheme of things, these aren't earth-shattering problems.

here,here...........agreed totally!! I mean, c'mon, it's not like you're digging ditches in 100 degree heat!! It is supposed to be entertaining and a SMALL source of extra cash. If it is so upsetting, then one needs to just not participate.

Also, I guess people need to think twice before posting ridiculous message in open forums, accusing webmasters of scam etc just because something goes wrong. It amazes me that one moment, members says that program xyz is his/ her favourite and when it has a few glitches, the same members scream SCAM.

Maybe if we all stopped for 5 seconds before we said or wrote something, it might be a little more pleasant.

The email asking about the earnings could have been a bit more polite as in "hi, my earnings seem to be off...could you help me fix it?" instead of the way it went out.,...

And the vulgar reply....well, there's just no excuse for it....and I'm disappoinnted because I like the programs of that particular webmaster....being short or terse because of outside circumstances is one thing, but vulgariity has no place....even if the inquirer was somewhat rude.....

Does no one believe in please, thank you, and just being kind anymore? Haven't we enough strife in the offline world without it invading the online "fun"world?
