Honestly, I don't know what to think.

I question the integrity of the boy's family, considering their litigious nature, and their previous contention that nothing happened.

Plus, what parent would allow their child to stay the night at a man's house who had been previously accused of child abuse? Almost sounds like a nice little setup by mama for a big payoff.

Then, there's the weird factor. Sure, the US touts acceptance of different lifestyles and liberal beliefs, but when it comes down to it, how accepting are we, really? And Jackson is the epitome of *weird*. Maybe he's being persecuted for being different...

Of course, there's the dangling baby incident...if he could easily do that (and get away with it) in public, what would he do in private?

*shrug* I'm on the fence this time...

The first allegation back in the 90's set a precedent for this case, whether guilty or not.

If he did it, then I don't feel sorry for him and he should rot in jail.

Three problems with the cameras in the bedroom:

1.) It's an invasion of privacy (ie-illegal), unless he accepts them. Innocent or guilty, who would really want a camera in the bedroom, watching their every move? Well, other than the reality show peeps and for personal entertainment *wink*

2.) He will know whether or not the cameras are there, so who will ultimately have control over when they are recording? Either Jackson will, or his security team. The security team on his payroll. The security team who will benefit most from keeping boss out of legal trouble. See where I'm going with this? wink.gif

3.) How many rooms in his mansion? Just keep the activities out of camera view...

This Sneddon fellow has had it in for Jackson since the get go. He made a joke of the whole thing when it first came to light that Jackson's ranch was being searched. Jackson wrote a song earlier, during the first Child-abuse case, about that, if I recall correctly, in which he sang "Tom Sneddon is a cold, cold man", can't remember the title. Ever since, the guy has been on MJ's case.

I can remember the big days of Jackson, very well; he was the entertainer. I've been to many of his concerts and the things you see there are not to be believed, yet they happen, right in front of you.

Hundreds of kids, fainting when he came on stage, and the moves of this guy are stunning, especially live. Yet, some say he uses mirrors for that, while you can just see it right in front of you.

Jackson himself is a weirdo at best, we all know that, but I think in this case, he is being harrassed. He's an easy target and this family is clearly doing it for the cash they stand to gain. Humiliating him in front of the public by cuffing him and such. No wonder MJ danced on the cars when he came out again. Yet, he's the one accused of making a circus out of it.

With the first charges, which he kept out of court by settling, the downfall of Jackson began. I also thought he had at least done something otherwise he wouldn't settle. But this one... no, I don't believe he did something.

Edited to add something. smile.gif

I've never thought Jackson guilty of child molestation (either back in 90 or now). If it comes out a guilty verdict, I agree, let him rot. But so many people are figuring he's guilty just because he's weird. (Oh, excuse me. He's rich, so he's eccentric. wink.gif) It wouldn't surprise me in the least if something came out that the kid's parents have something against Jackson. Who here remembers in that 1990 case that the father of the kid had presented a script to Jackson, which Jackson turned down? Not many, I would guess. I was reported a few times and then *POOF* never heard of again. I think there's something more to this.

I remember he had his picture taken in a tank when he bought a medical apparatus for burn victims, and that it was reported that he slept in the thing at home. wink.gif

How about the bones of the Elephant Man?

The script thing I haven't heard of, or can't remember. I'm getting old. smile.gif

Not to nitpick, but I'd like to clear up something, on my part.

If he's guilty, not necessarily by law, but by having actually committed the deed, then he should be prosecuted and spend his remaining days in jail, being someone else's child.

But a court finding him guilty isn't enough to suit me. We all know how subjective the US court system is...plagued with fallacies and swayed by the media and politics.

The sad thing is, MJ will probably be convicted for being a potential child molester. Who's going to want to risk letting an individual who might have preyed on children back into society, guilty or not???

I dont believe he is guilty, but I also dont believe anyone will ever really know the truth - as if the 'justice' system is going to make sure that truth prevails?

I am not sure what to think, but if he is guilty he can rot in ###### as far as I am concerned.

But he seems to have a pretty distorted view on what he is actually doing

Now that is an understatement, if I ever saw one. laugh.gif
