Ok so I go to log in today after thanksgiving weekend to do my daily clicks on web-earners to find out that the site is closed! ................
SO my reaction was at first (like most of you) this:
" ###### its too bad such a nice Get Paid Program had to shut down. But I understand where he is coming from that he cant afford the time anymore."
What I did not expect was logging on to the GET PAID FORUM to discover that this "webmaster" will not be paying his members for 2 months of earnings!!!!!!!!!!!! This my friends is outrageous! Why? Because I had been clicking like a mad idiot for the last 2 months on a daily basis and sometimes more! Sure I only had about 1 dollar earned that the little ###### owes me but my point is that imagine if you where one of those members signing up for offers worth 5 bucks and such? Its one thing to close down a site because you cant handle the heat anymore but its another not to pay your members!!!!!!
Take a look at a great get paid program that died recently that all of us hated to see die. Email2read.com . This is an example of what to do when you go under DO WHAT EMAIL2READ.COM DID!
1) inform us early that you are closing
2) send out an email or 2 about whats going on in your life or why you are shutting down.
3) PAY YOUR MEMBERS DEBTS and dont bullcrap us about how you cant afford to pay us.
So in conclusion YES web-earners is a SCAM and I dont care about your dictionary definitions about what a scam is or not. Web-Earners WAS great. But a site that pays its users on time , and all the time ofr months then decides not to pay its members for 2 months of earnings MADE A PROFIT OFF us!
