Hello,
We are sorry to inform you that server where your web site is hosted experienced a major problem today.
As you know your web site was mirrored on a redundant hard disk in real time
(RAID 0+1 system) so that even in case of an hard disk crash your data would
have been recovered by just replacing the failed disk.
Well, it's the first time we hear of such a rare case like two disks crashing within a few minutes, but it's what happened to that server today: while we
were replacing the crashed disk, before completing that operation, the other disk crashed too (!), so I'm sorry to inform you that your data at the moment
is not accessible, and will not be accessible unless the data recover attempt we are performing will be successful.
Since we cannot guarantee that the data recovery will be successful nor quick and since we understand that your site must be back online in the shortest
possible time, we created your account again on a different serve. All you have to do in order to have your web site back online is to upload it again through
ftp or frontpage as usual, using the usual login, password and host information.
In case you changed your password in the past, note that you have to use the first password that we assigned to your account, that is the one included in
the original welcome message.
In case you use a MySQL or PostgreSQL Databases: don't worry, your database is
safe, it was not affected by the data loss.
We apologize for such a major inconvenience, it's the first time in over seven
years that something like this happens and we are already planning to put in
place additional security procedures to prevent this very unlucky and rare case
from happening again, in the meanwhile we will do all we can to help you to
solve any problem this inconvenience caused, please do not esitate to email
support@interferenza.com if you need help.
Best regards

honestly, at this time an answer to this question cannot be done, all I can say
is that we are working on it, but I cannot do any guarantee regarding if and
when

the problem is that your software did not use a MySQL DB (or other sql
engine), in that case your data would not be lost now. of course what happened
was not your fault, but I remind I warned you about the software you were
using, it's not the best solution in the world
I'm really sorry

Oh wow, that is such a major bummer. Jay I hope for your sake this is fixed. Of course I don' blame you but there are some who will and that is sad. I will still be here when you get it up and running. Heck, it was just something fun to do, I don't take none of those paid things to serious, most I have made on the net was 2 $10.00 winnings at bingo in my whole 2 1/2 years online. Sorry rambling there, just wanted you to know your friends don't blame you nor are we mad at you.

The Last full back up I have is from May 17th :bawl: I was trying to backup today when it crashed . So I don't know where that will leave me ??
I guess I will wait a day or so and see if they will be able to recover things . Before uploading from then
or I have considered opening up fresh and allowing a
$60.00 sign up bonus to previous members or re-running every Ad I have from May1st until yesterday if worst comes to worst . If I had the email list that would be 1 thing . but I don't :bawl:
I just trust the lord will provide the best solution and lead things in the right direction.
I should have done nightly back ups or atleast weekly .
But when they tell you there is no need to worry your backed up and the back up fails .
See where your At settin' here teary eyed like me :bawl:
