What programs are you getting them at? I haven't received any of them. 
Neither have I... that's really odd... 
I've seen them... just not sure which program it was. You're not a prude. It's an illegal drug and should not be promoted in a ptc email.

I've seen them too, quite a few times. It's a leaf, I don't see anybody smoking, processing or offering to sell it.
I have no idea what it has to do with promoting a site mind you.
Hey, I live in the Netherlands. 
And it's just a leaf, with 7 parts (the spiritual number).
And smoking it is probably less harmful than smoking commercial cigarettes.
And many parts of the hemp plant have been used for many purposes for millenia.

Hey, the hemp leaf has many uses besides being a drug, so it doesn't necessarily promote drug use...
For example, you could use it to make paper, clothing, and jewelry for pot heads!

I thought it was a Maple Leaf, from Canada. Unless the message in that email specifically says: "Smoke pot, buy drugs" I wouldn't get so worked up about it. It's a drawing into which someone put work. It's more original than listing the last 100 emails from a site which has become the trend these days. Relax. Smoke some.

I dont see what the big deal is either. Whats the difference betwwen a harmless weed leaf and these bubble games and randomizers? Are they not all three illegal in the U.S? I dont see very many complaints about the later of the three

Everyone does need to lighten up. I actually got a one dollar bill with a talk bubble coming from Washington's mouth saying "I grew hemp." It has been used for hundreds of years for stuff from clothing to rope. Marley fans in my school have pot leaf buttons on their bookbags. Seriously people, lighten up.
Oh, and one joint is many times more harmful than one cig. Marijuana not being harmful to you physically is an all too common misconception. I believe it's as much as 20 times worse, which is actually what a cigar is too.

Just out of curiousity, whats the crime rate in the Netherlands? If someone can compare it to the crime rate in the US, that would be great (I'm going to guess that it's less than the US by a buttload, but thought I'd ask... lol)

based on 6-year old figures (quickest I could find):
Adolescent Marijuana Use: nearly twice as much as in the US
Rate of Herione Use: US has 260% higher rate
Homicide rate (1995): US has 440% higher rate

Well, like I said: I didn't even think it to be such a leaf but a Maple leaf. I think it's like a Rorshak (sp) test, you see what you want to see? Not trying to be cute here. If I were, I'd say: no matter how hard you try to shield children, they will find out sooner or later. Better to be up front about it and explain, than to never say anything, shield them and see them go do it/try it/fill-in-the-blanks anyway.
Children can't be shielded. That what is forbidden is most desirable. And there's always some kid who knows what it is to teach them.
Not to pee on anyone's parade here, Holland has had its fill of attacks on drug-policy, but at least we don't treat it like it doesn't exist. We confronted it head-on. And for that... yes, I am very proud.

Most people smoke it with tobacco therefore making it FAR more harmful than commercial cigarettes, its a myth that too many people believe.
It kills hundreds of brain cells everytime you smoke it!! youcould be senile at a very young age.

But showing an image of a PLANT that GROWS in the GROUND is not illegal! And as much as I'd like to think that what is legal and illegal is based on our best interests, and that laws are not enforced selectively....
I have to admit, I wondered about the leaf too (why it is suddenly appearing) and I'm not a parent, so I can't claim to understand it from a parent's perspective, but from my perspective I think it's a natural and pleasant image (and I'd love to visit the Netherlands some day, especially if I could catch a live performance of Golden Earring!)
