It looks like the members that are disappearing are from hackers with new password hacking software... Change your password... Here's what Webmaster had to say...
quote:
Dear members it has just occured to me that recent disapearing members
information may not only be due to hackers and the introduction of the
new password hacking software.
quote:
Step 1. You must change your password and make sure it is not the same
as any password you use for any other internet account you have there
is a good reason for this and you will all have to just trust me on this
one as I do not want to loose any members due to recent hacking
incidents do not leave any information for username and passwords on your
computers and I also strongly recommend the use of url cloaking or meta
tags to protect your username from internet hackers.

Thats not good, the majority of CAC's lose a few members due to server problems, and normally thats what its put down to. Not many webmasters would think to check out if their lost members was down to a password hack. The PH ikonboard locks me out after 5 invalid password attempts, maybe webmasters could arrange to have a script like this made, it would stop accounts being removed, if this password software does exist, it would need more than 5 incorrect guesses to crack the password I presume. Alternatively we could come up with the same type of system e-gold has, a number displayed onscreen, where you type the numbers in that you see.

I've had Ian design me a few functions, like an automated redemption system, earnings transfer script, cheat detection. He sells these as add-ons, usually someone has to fund the creation of the script.
I will think more about this after I have got the automated redemption system. I'll make some queries, and i'll need some "cmi's" to make it cheaper on me, development wise.
