CashRead complained to members that PayPal took their money & freezed their account without any reason. Thus, they will no long accept PayPal as a payment option anymore.

quote:

we regret to announce that effective from today we are compelled to
remove PayPal completely from our site.

They freezed our account with NO reason whatsoever and no explanation
was given to us.
They are keeping our money and YOUR money frozen there, and we find
this an unacceptable ABUSE, if not a THEFT.

We already read online that your Paypal account can be frozen at any
time, without advance notice, leaving you without your money for weeks
(if not forever), and there isn't much you can do about it. Paypal is
currently being investigated by regulatory authorities in four states and
there are tons of class-actions lawsuits filed against them.

When they freeze your account, and it can happen any time, out of the
blue, you will get NO explanation from them, and trying to contact them
to solve this problem you are in for the most frustrating experience of
your life.

Therefore, we won't accept PayPal anymore as a payment option, and warn
you about their policy, because this may happen TO YOU TOO!

What suprise...
Didn't see that coming from a mile away.
Probably and advertiser who purchased advertising to their 70,000+ members and got 1,000 clicks.

Surly no 1 has got enuf money to get paid yet?

I was expecting a few more weeks at least before some1 wanted to cash out there

LOL, ya me too.
When that time comes, someone will probably hack into their bank account and e-gold account and steal all the member's money.

I think cashread has never pay a single cents to their members and there might be a possibility that some members complaint to paypal that they are a scam so that paypal frozen their account.
Rob
Yeah, someone mailed GPTBoycott saying they were filing a Paypal complaint against them for not giving them advertising despite paying for an eBay auction...

I don't know if it's related.
Niels
I were a member once, i think they were just fine and i got the advertisement i redeemed.
kglaser
Yeah, I was a member too, and would have been happy to hang in there until I did that, but they discontinued it. >
