Do you think aliens exist? Are we alone in the universe? Or is the truth out there?
the truth is definatly out there.
i like the contact explanation. if we are the only ones out there, it's an awful waste of space.

imho, if we think we're the only ones *out there*, we're truly self-absorbed. Not to mention delusional

There is so much space in the space, that there must be someone else also...
great poll and I do think they are out there especially after watching men in balck 1 and 2 the ending shots put it in perspective for me
in MIB 1-- ahuge aliens are playing with marbles which happen to be planets(earth included)
in MIB 2-- earth is in a locker and we are surrounded by other lockers hence other planets.

Space is infinite, theoretically it doesn't end.
For arguments sake, let's say there are 30,000,000,000 planets in the entire universe (talk about an underestimation lol). 1% is capable of sustaining life as we understand it - that's 300,000,000 planets. 1% of those actually has life of some form - we're now down to 3,000,000. 1% of those planets contains lifeforms which are at our intelligence/technological level or above - that's still 30,000 worlds!!
Most of those will always be out of our reach, but a handful.... who knows! And just because we're here now, it doesn't mean that there weren't civilisations that existed a few million or even a billion years ago and no longer are.
To think that we are the only species capable of intelligence to me is an arrogance. We might be at the top of the food chain here on our planet, but we're far from being the only species with intelligence.

I dreamed about that as a kid. (or maybe daydreamed or imagined it, but anyway I do remember it)
What struck me at the end of MIB were the magazines with the headlines on the covers that would seem crazy to people who don't know what's really going on, but not to those who do. It's more realistic than people would tend to think.

Of course aliens do exits.
I voted that there is a good chance because I have no proofs, but it is *almost* impossible that there is no conditions for life in any other planet.
That does not mean that there are "intelligent" life or that they are gonna destroy the Earth or anything like that
Maybe there are just basic pluricellular organisms... but, hey, that's life!
