Depression Glass, Carnival Glass, Stoneware Pitchers and Churns, Handmade Quilts, Hand Embroidered Linens, Fiesta Ware, Mickey Mouse Stuff, Snoopy and Woodstock stuff, Old Jewelry - mostly bakelite, New Jewelry, Antique Perfume Bottles, Antique Furniture.... EIEIO !!

Actually, being the only child of an only child I seem to have become the curator of our family's museum of junk. Some of it's rather nice junk. wink.gif I have ton's of stuff that belonged to my great-great-grandparents.....

Edited because I forgot about the shotglasses, cigarette lighters, NASCAR stuff, and the McCoy and Hull pottery.... I have WAY too much stuff !! rolleyes.gif

I suppose that I also collect children. I inherited FOUR of them when I married for the second time and then I got pregnant. We were hoping for a "six-pack", but we only have five biggrin.gif

Edited again to say that the most important thing of all to collect is memories...
erikals88
I collect the typical stuff-coins, cards (no sports, just movie/game cards)

I have two Salvador Dali posters (does that count as a collection?) Plus, tons of dragon and unicorn figurines/pictures/plates, candles holders, and swords.

I have a 60" claymore too, not that I can unsheath it tongue.gif

I collect children, so far I have 3 of them. I'm not sure if I'll get any more though, they're really expensive!

Really I collect shot glasses and bar stuff. I like the old decorative liquor bottles from the 50's.

depression glass? what's that? blink.gif unsure.gif

Depression glass is the cheap glassware that was made during the years of the great depression. Much of it was given away as premimums at grocery stores and movie theaters. It is really pretty (imho) because it comes in so many colors - green, pink, blue, yellow, crystal and lots of different patterns. Most people have some and don't even relaize what it is or what it is worth - they just think it is grandmas's old sugar bowl. smile.gif

Oh!! I forgot about Snoopy and the Disney charters!! How could I? tongue.gif

I have an old Snoopy glass from about the 60's or 70's - it is a beer type mug that has snoopy and woodstock on it - woodstock is passed out and snoopy is saying 'woodstock just can't hold his rootbeer'. I brought it to be part of my collection but my daughter fell in love with it and won't drink out of anything else. Oh well - at least it is not sitting on the shelf collecting dust. wink.gif

I have several items that belonged to my grandparents and a couple of things that belonged to my great-grandparents. I love antiques and I love family antiques even more

You asked, I answered laugh.gif

I have an old doggy doo-doo trashcan full of hotwheel and matchbox cars.
1:24 scale NASCAR cars.
Movie ticket stubs.
Notes from girlfriends.
My room is littered with empty soda cans. If that counts.
Old card collection that I haven't touched for years. FYI, when you buy those grabbag boxfull's of unopened packages from the 70's and 80's, don't try to eat the gum. Very hard, and falls apart into hard little balls into your mouth. I should have known better than to try 30 year old gum.
I download any music video I see on TV and like
MP3's
Entire anime series (Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Inuyasha, FLCL/Furi Kuri)
Cats (5 right now, was six up until a few weeks ago, had to put one down)
State quarters

Uhm.... anything else? Can't think of anything else.
princessah

shot glasses
empty beer and liquor bottles.
DGE1754
I used to collect football cards..but YIKES it became almost an obssession and I had too many..lol I kept a few...trying to think what ones I have that are worth the most...well my favorite although its not worth much I imagine is my Drew Bledsoe autographed rookie card. The DAY the Patriots drafted him in 1993 I sent him two cards via the Patriots address and a letter. He autographed both and sent them back with the SASE I provided. I have alot of Patriots autographs that way. Sam The Bam Cunningham even wrote me back a letter which is almost unheard of.
As far as $$ wise my Doug Flutie 1985 Topps USFL rookie card in almost perfect condition as far as centering etc. Best example of that card I have ever seen

I have some autographs as well from Nascar drivers and one from Rosie O Donnell of all people..lol

When I worked in a group home my clients all loved her show so I wrote to her to just say we loved her show. She sent back an autographed pic..lol

I just dont have the time to collect anymore sad.gif

And since I think the general concensus here has been that 3 comprises a collection though most of us are only using 2, as of tonight (here's too much information for ya) 3 girls I've gone all the way around the baseball field with. Take it how you wish. laugh.gif

I have a sister who's whole entire house is jammed with cow stuff. I have another sister who collcets dolphins. My older brother collects indian stuff and eagle stuff. floaty pens -- the kind where you tip it and watch the stuff float around. (man that is a really bad description, but i'm too tired to try to think of a better one) i try to find a new one each time i take a trip. my favorites are King Kong climbing up and down the Empire State Building, and the Yellow Submarine floating around. Oh yeah, and a gift from one of my fellow passengers on the QE2, has the ship floating around in the harbor in with the New York skyline in the background. Oh and at Disneyland I got one with Lady and the Tramp, the scene with the spaghetti noodle, and when you tip it, they move together and kiss. wub.gif
Akuma
