Well DirecTV is good when I had it...I went back to cable ONLY because I have waited over 2 years here where I live to get my local channel access (its not available in my town yet although Oklahoma City gets its blink.gif ). Also NOTHING beats NFLTicket on DirecTV for viewing any game you want on sundays smile.gif But I couldnt watch the playoffs or Monday Night games because of NO local channels. So I went to cable and now I have cable for the internet plus the local channels wink.gif

When football season starts again I will hook up DT again just for that and take it back off when football season is done. I didnt like the picture quality or whatever you want to call it for DirecTv because everytime it rained hard or was really windy(happens alot here in Oklahoma) the signal would go out blink.gif

Digital cable is my prefered choice where I live...we had NFL Sunday Ticket on cable here and hundreds of other things and I never have any reception problems...Satellite would be good for people that don't have access to cable or for those that like to steal the signal to get it for free.

I would say cable. Satellites are just too unreliable especially where I live(Florida) so you know it rains ALOT down here.
I have cable and satellite, but the satellite is to view european channels only, and sometime the picture quality of a satellite absolutely sucks.

I would say cable too wink.gif

The digital cable's pictures are just crystal clear and on my tv, but the internet really sucks in my area. So many channels rolleyes.gif

Download Speeds have been dropped from 300kb/s to 80 kb/sec lately.

OBVIOUSLY CABLE,

-No bulky satellites
-Local channels are free
-Weather can affect the signal
