hi all. it's me again.

I have bought stuff on eBay a few times, and I'm looking in to selling stuff now.

I cannot find on the eBay website anywhere where it says how the seller fees are calculated.

Can someone please help me with this?

Thank You

well it's pretty simple.......hope you have money to burn......it's expensive!

i just listed a 10 day auction for $0.99 cents starting price and it was $0.50 cents just to list it ($0.30 cents insertion - $0.20 for 10 day listing).....and if it sells for less than $25 they are gonna charge me 5.25% of the closing value.

Starting Price,Opening Value orReserve Price Insertion Fee

$0.01 - $0.99 $0.30
$1.00 - $9.99 $0.35
$10.00 - $24.99 $0.60
$25.00 - $49.99 $1.20
$50.00 - $199.99 $2.40
$200.00 - $499.99 $3.60
$500.00 and up $4.80

Closing Value Final Value Fee

$0 - $25 5.25% of the closing value
$25 - $1,000 5.25% of the initial $25 ($1.31),
plus 2.75% of the remaining closing value balance ($25.01 to $1,000)
Over $1,000 5.25% of the initial $25 ($1.31),
plus 2.75% of the initial $25 - $1000 ($26.81),
plus 1.50% of the remaining closing value balance ($1000.01 - closing value)

You can keep getting higher and higher in ad ons........bold title.......list in 2 categories.......etc.

After listing on ebay I realized why it is better having my own auction site smile.gif

it's cheaper, and no closing costs! laugh.gif

Good Luck to you on ebay smile.gif

Ah, but eBay seems to be the best place to sell my stuff, at least non-PTR-related... it's where the most buyers are wink.gif

You are sooooo right about that! I am very addicted to ebay.

I have tried Auction hagglers but just once, maybe try it again in the future but even though my ebay sales are slow I think there is a much better chance selling non-ptr auctions at ebay. Never know though!
