I have been in this business a long time. I am down right sick of webmasters who do not answer legitimate queries but yet have time to make nonsense posts.

I am starting a new way of classifying my programs. There is gonna be two folders. One is labeled "Class Act" and the other "When I Get To It". That seems to be the way webmasters are acting these days. The programs that PAY ON TIME EVERY TIME and have good service go in the first mentioned folder. Any program that goes beyond their tos without a seriously good reason or has lousy service goes in the second.

I am tired of the b.s. excuses. I click my butt off and end up with belly aching. I redeem in Nov. I at least expect a payment by Jan. I am still waiting on some from Oct. That is is four months ago.

Sorry I am just sick of it all together.

I hear ya on that one.

I have programs mentally classified in much the same way...problem is, most from mental folder A have slipped into mental folder B in just the last 2 months. sad.gif

I've had this form of filtering for a while now and belive it or not: it works.

My fav programs are done first and when I'm bored, I'll open up the can 'o worms.

I have to admit, though: I'm not in many programs anymore. Some of the high paying ones end up in folder B. wink.gif

Reallybarb
Folder A: programs that pay on time send a reasonable amount of e-mail and have WMs that don't whine. I work these programs everyday that I am able.

Folder B: slow payers, to many searches and whines once in a while. I do these programs pretty regularly but I don't stress if I miss them.

Loser folder: slow to pay lots of whines lots of searches and it doesn't matter how much e-mail they send I'll do 1 or 2 pieces once in a while just in case they get thier heads out of thier hinnies and develop a program worth supporting. I have to be really bored to bother with more than a look to see if their still there.

Looks like we have the same system biggrin.gif

Hi all, biggrin.gif
While I do understand the frustration with slow paying programs and usually do not stay with it long if it is too slow, I do try to understand when a ptr is just getting started or has only been around a short time, that it will be slow for a while. I just don't care for the ones that seem to be on stable ground yet can't seem to remember that they have members that have requested payout, or that fold just as the members start reaching payout.
After all, If it wasn't for the members, they would have no program.

I am with you on that one I have one cash out in Oct and one in Dec.

I understand the new kids on the block getting slow starts. I am referring more to the older programs in this thread. I have been with some more than a year that have literally trashed themselves. I also had a talk with a webmaster last night. According to that person webmasters here in the USA can claim these sites as a tax right off and actually get a larger tax return from Uncle Sam for proving their sites are running in a negative way. That made me really wonder last night just how many are doing this.

I am going to slowly quit a lot of programs. I have found the lil programs that earn slow and steady are better than the big ones. I really love sites like badkittys-bucks and miciowillys. It may take a lil time to earn there but I get paid on time and always a courteous answer on emails or posts.

Whats frustrating to us old program owers is the New ones that start........ Send out 5 Cents ads to 5000 members and sell that same 5 Cent Ad for $10 and disppear in a few months.

It make it very hard for us who are selling ads at reasonable cost and creates alot of hositily with members when they contact us as they assume we are going to be a fly by night too sad.gif

I can only speak for myself, but I would imagine that it's entirely possible that the PO you're referring to wasn't in their inbox when you emailed them, and therefore didn't respond. Then again, if it had been a week and you still hadn't heard from them, yet they were still posting around here, I'd also be wondering...

I know for myself I personally get distracted easily and need to focus on one thing at a time. So if I am working in ONE site I will check all to do with that site but not other until I am at that site or I get disctracted and off doing the other thing and get all mixed up.

One thing I have noticed a rise in which TOTALLY ticks me off

is these webmaster who start paid to reads........ Say they dont have time, no money to pay members whatever.......... Dump it on someone else........

THEN start up another type of site such as a search engine or anohter paid to read and Everyone "forgets" what they did at the last site and runs to support them dry.gif

Let me tell you lately I have witnessed with my own eyes some that are longer Time Webmasters, who are loyal members in your sites and STILL try to pull fast ones and push the bountries. I wonder how do they treat thier members. Not alot of sense naming names or asking general question on it as then you have 1000000 People posting what proof do you have. sad.gif
Brenda@PJ
I also would like to say that if I get an email question that is answered on the site, I usually refer the person there or to the support folder. If I am over here chatting, but haven't answered a member's legitimate question, I sincerely need to be spanked.

However, if someone asks me a redundant, lazy question, then I may simply refer them to the site.

Brenda,please tell me what site(s) you own.TIA

I use the same system since a couple of months...
folder 1 is fast paymnet by tos, and wm that do answer and send my ads out
folder 2 the once that maybe answer in a month after 2,3 mails and maybe pay me
folder 3 the once i wanna reach payout the wm who never answer and claim they never got the contact form....and dont pay after tos by half year, si i wait and unsub after i have recieved my paymnet or hopefully:))
I have to say the folder 3 is large

Um, PJ, as in PocketJingle.net.

Not that OTHER one, but the original one.

Why? Hopefully you didn't take exception to my statement about "redundant, lazy questions" becuase boy oh boy, I do get some!!

I once threatened someone to forward all of 'em to THEM so that THEY could sort thru 'em.

Funny, they didn't take me up on that... blink.gif

LOL! I hear you on the redundant, lazy questions. I love the "What good are points", question.

Clearly explained in FAQ's. Have sent them a link to FAQ's and still gotten the same question back from members.

Have even gone as far as to explain in an email...

Sometimes I believe some think if they annoy us enough with the same stupid question over and over again that we will change the rule to suit them.

I guess I'll add my two cents too. I find it amazing that webmasters always have redemptions open for advertising, but not for cash payout. There are some that have cash redemption open, but those are the ones who take forever to pay, never answer e-mails, and leave us wondering when and if we'll get paid.

I have cancelled several of my accounts, losing earnings, but just get discouraged when I can't receive payment. I have even asked various webmasters if changing my method of payment would speed up the process--from paypal to check, or some such. To date, I've received no reply.

I find this statement pretty funny
*****Clearly explained in FAQ's. Have sent them a link to FAQ's and still gotten the same question back from members.******

It clearly states when payout will also be made and that doesn't happen So if wm don't go by their own tos how does sombody know if other things won't change in the tos. Because we all know a lot of them don't pay their members when the tos says.
