Stay away from 1cent-100dollar-email, guys. It was one of my favorite sites until just today, when I found I'd been deleted from the database. My crime? Turns out I was giving them "negative publicity". Huh?!??

I was really SCATHING, huh? Asking the opinions of others (many of whom agreed with me)--and those @#@$$%^ webmasters at 1C1$ took the advice of me and other people in that thread, to better their program--and then DELETED ME and ANOTHER PERSON VOICING OUR OPINIONS.
Did I send them death threats? Did I insult them? Did I cheat? No!!

This is a blatant example of unscrupulous and underhanded WM's taking advantage of a very ambiguous clause in their TOS to delete people. Watch what you say there...it's a dictatorship, and your opinion had better be favorable, or adios to you.

Sorry, I'm so angry...nothing like this has ever happened to me before but this is yet one more sign of this industry heading downhill fast--people like this. They can keep my lousy $3 (which I honestly earned--for THEM, as it turns out)...it's a small price to pay for going to every forum I can find and telling everyone just what sort of "businessmen" these are.

That was a stupid move.....which is worse, the little bit of shared curiousity into the -50 cent banner, which hardly affected my opinion of them program, or the fact that they unfairly removed your account and now your going to let EVERYBODY know how crappy their program is.

hmmm, what i find really interesting is the fact that they do not have the gag order written into the FAQ, TOS or privacy policy.

Somehow I don't think they got rid of their little "publicity" problem by deleting us, Eldritch.

Do NOT join this program if you wish to have a fair, fun, profitable program to work with. The underhandedness of being forced out because of a few simple posts in a forum after being confronted by cheat banners is cowardly and stupid. I had just become more of a fan of the program after they dropped their minimum payout to $10 which is highly unusual. However, after their latest tactics, I encourage everyone to stay as far away from this program as possible.

And I'm spent.

I submitted them for boycott, too.
And while I will restrain myself in this forum and not cross-post every time they are brought up which is what I'd like to do because I'm freakin' angry, I will instead pursue a more methodical campaign to expose these people for what they are.

This is quite typical of the ptr programs anymore....it just goes to show you the UNPROFESSIONALISM that exist in this industry.

Do you have an email from them saying the reason you were deleted?

If this is what happened really, then Iam happy Iam not a member there and will never become one. This is a direct violation of the human freedom of expression.

My request to them, to disclose the reason:

Today I found myself an unwelcome guest at your program. I would very much like to hear the reason for this treatment. I cannot remember offending you nor can I remember clicking one of the 'traps' set up to catch the rude. Please clarify this for me.

I think it's quite unfair to people with slow connections. For some, the image does not appear or it takes long to load. I think the Text underneath should also say "cheat link" or something to that effect.

I am a member of that program and I think what happened to you is both unfair and unprofessional. So if owner of said program is lurking about - the program being 1 Cent-100Dollar-Email. These two ppl were only making suggestions and you DELETED them!!!! If you don't like what I have to say - then just knock yourselves out. I'll be sure not to let the door hit me on the way out...

You know... the worst of it is that they actually adjusted the banner. And then deleted us.

Just out of curiosity, how much did each of the cancelled members have in their accounts? I had only $3.80 in personal earnings so I'm not terribly torn up, even though that is 380 emails from them since they are all one cent.

I had joined 2 days ago and had $0.43
Rediculously little for such a fuss but it has become a matter of principle now.

Bad publicity? Where? Their TOS as some people have already pointed out is ambiguous and only really benefits themselves in situations like this.

There's no room for the unreasonable insensitive crybaby in any business, it was a suggestion and discussion as far as I could see. I receive 'concerns' everyday and if I was to bash someone in the head because they were vocal I'd be a fool... of course I would implement their suggestion first

Sounds like another power happy PO... I would think they'd have more important things to do than hunting down reasons to get rid of honest members... For any PO to delete a member for their OPINION is pure wrong. I know that not all countries encourage the absolute freedom of speech, but by definition an OPINION is not right or wrong-it is just one person's thought process. I just looked at the site for the first time and see it is nearly 9000 members. Isn't it pretty new? Will it be the next one changing terms due to their unexpected initial growth? (I'm not a member-they can't delete me HAHA!)

Ya know, I hemhawed most of the day about what to do as far as this program. I just joined a few days ago after reading a thread about them lowering payout and thought it seemed like a good program to try.

I kept checking all of the threads hoping that this PO would use some common sense and realize that no one was slamming his program, just discussing something that could be mistaken by some members.

Well, I decided after reading the support folder, that common sense just isn't on the menu for some people. Don't bother searching your database for me darlin'. My name won't be there. I only 'work for' POs with integrity and decency. I've not seen either of these things in my reading, so I cannot in good conscience remain a member of a program run by this person.

One more thing, I do hope that you two will only use this awsome power you have for good.

Unbelievable. All he had to do was come here at the beginning of all this garbage and I would have tried to discuss it with him (ok, maybe not with total calmness and tranquility, but calmly enough). What I really think is going on here is that he misunderstood what I said initially and now he's either too confused or too chicken to admit it. Well, I see that people are realizing his true colors now. His calling me a liar just makes me that much more disgusted. While I harbor no ill will towards those in the program, I cannot say that I am not delighted to see all these people quitting or not joining in the first place. I have my pound of flesh (not the most important thing, but sure is fun!!!!)

Just when I think things like this are past history some jerk WM goes and bursts my bubble. But then, what can you expect from a WM who thinks nothing of posting members usernames AND encrypted passwords on a public forum. He obviously understood enough english in the original post about the 50 cent banner to change it so I can't even give him that benefit of the doubt.

To this so-called webmaster - just what do you think you accomplished here? OK, you deleted 2 members and have alienated countless others to the point that some members are quitting and potential members are running as far as they can away from your site. You TOS is so vague that it is open to whatever YOU deem it means. Without members you are the webmaster of nothing. Be very careful. That pedestal you put yourself on is made of sand and the tide is turning.
