Is it just me or is everyone having trouble with pages loading for mec-co-op? It takes about five minutes to get credit for one link. I don't have the fastest computer but I'd like to get through one email before I need to shave my legs again!!

lol..some of them seem to take longer than others from mec but I wasn't sure if it was mec, my PC(Dino), or my ISP.

It's the banner in the timer bar that is slow loading. Timer won't start until it's fully loaded. When this happens, hit the stop button. This stops the banner load and usually the timer will start counting down.

it goes pretty fast for me, even with a dinosaur computer (200 MHz) maybe its your internet connection.

Nope. It's not my ISP. I rang them and got them to check. I get two sorts of emails. One with the timer which seems to go a little faster but then I also get the old style where you have to put your username in and that's where I get most of the problems. I've clicked on the link, made a cup of coffee, typed this, and it's only loaded the mec-co-op logo. If I go and have a shower and cook dinner, I might get the rest. And that's only one link. I have an email with 20 or so links in it and it's a rerun so "the ads can get the hits they deserve". Well I hope they're there in a months time cause that's how long it will take.
Maybe my puter is sick? It's OK with other sites though.

I have the same problem with 750MhZ and cable. I feel sorry for C it seems there's been a dark cloud following Mec around from the beginning. Oh well at least the dog's happy since he gets lots of walks while the links are loading.

I have to wait FOREVER when clicking on the mec links. Have you tried just logging into their account to check your earnings? That takes a long time too, so I just think it is their server, or our computers are all sucky!

I Think the timer starts when the top frame has finished downloading, so you have at least getting chance to view the lower frame (Which is bad with some of the banners that are like So much of a drain on Dial up Resources that the PTR programs dispaly, i reakon they should put a limit on the size of the banner for the displaying on the Top Frame
