Hi,

I need some help. I had submitted my website to an autosurf program, but they rejected it saying there are too many popups. I have personally written the code for the page, so I know that there are no exits, popups and popins/slideins whatever. On contacting them, they said there were three popups in the site. When I try to load the page from here, I can see only one from the host, either on entry or on exit. I would like to know if there are so many popups on my site.

The site is really ugly, since its my first attempt to code a site in html, but your feedback would be appreciated anyway. rolleyes.gif

This is the site address:

Thanks, in advance smile.gif

My blocker looks like it was picking up one pop-up.

Hi shazan! I checked out your webpage and I didn't get any popups at all, not even when I exited. I don't think your page is ugly either, I wouldn't have any idea how to make my own webpage!! unsure.gif

Hey I got one popup but as soon as I closed it I got another. So I guess 2 for me.

I do have windowsxp but I turned off the pop up blocker when I viewed her site. Unless it just blocked them anyway?!

some people have automatic pop-up blockers on their security if you guys have firewall/virus protection etc.
Akuma
I am not using any popup blocker and I got no popups.

That might be an explanation, but that's something I ignore.

I didn't got any. Maybe its depend on country you live. For example if advertiser needs traffic from US. It will show popups only to US users. Try to signup Adfree host like freewebs.com

Even if your website doesn't have pop ups but if you are using one of those
free website builder, they will automatically put a pop up on your site
without you knowing it.

It is in their TOS, normally in small print.

Hi,
I have now made a new website in Yahoo, and this time , I would like to get it certified by you guys before submitting it to the autosurf programs, ads etc. Hoping for some input from you veterans about popups, slide-ins etc. Also, one doubt. Does yahoo allow banners? I saw something about photobucket.com on another thread but how do I use that here?

Heres my website.

It doesn't matter if you didn't put any pop ups in there, many free hosts will put a pop up in automatically.
