I'm just curious. What, if any, conspiracy theories do you think are probably true?

For me, the big ones are: the Roswell cover-up in '47, the men in black (not the movie type, although I loved both of them, but the not so nice ones from the actual(?) stories), and the Kennedy assassination. I haven't heard of too many from outside N. America, so if anyone out there has some really juicy one for me to read up on, please, let me know! smile.gif

Well the Ketysburgh(sp?) conspiracy is a pretty good one, if you like those government cover ups about UFO's and stuff. And it involves MIB in there too.
It is pretty interesting to watch because the town is now divided in half about the whole thing, and they don't talk to each other anymore because of their disagreements on the incidents.

the moon landing..

the newest one probably being the murder of princess Di

If you make a search for CIA conspiracy, I bet you get about a billion hitsof stuff they have done all over the world, overthrowing left-woing democratic parliaments all over the world to put more US-friendly gov's in power. That might be more a fact than a conspiracy theory.

The Philadelphia experiment is another one, but prolly not true

The moon landing one I always get a laugh out of, because it's all based on bad science and lack of photographic knowledge! laugh.gif

The Philadelphia Experiment is one I've always found fascinating, whether it's true or not. I think it's quite possible that it happened, but I can't say for sure. But if it was, it makes you wonder if they kept developing it to find out what the problem was. wink.gif

you know about 3 yrs ago i went to this site and it talked all about the UFO's and Area 51, I'm not sure if it's true or not, but on that site they said that the aliens weren't in Area 51 they were in this other location not far from them called Area S-4 blink.gif as I was going to print that page out my computer froze and I had to restart it again. What is really weird is when I went back to the website I got a cannot find server message. ohmy.gif blink.gif till this day I couldn't find that site. So who knows if it's true or not.

Search Google for 'Lazar, Bob'. He's the main source (reliable or not) for info on S-4. (Claims he worked there.)

>>>but I would like to ask you why do you believe that?

At first, I believed the official version of events. I began to doubt the government's version after viewing pictures of the crash site of flight 77 (Pentagon).

http://www.apfn.org/apfn/flight77.htm

One must draw his/her own conclusions from these pictures.

A good (well-documented) site which explores the 9/11 timeline can be found here:

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timelin...restingday.html

Additionally, using the threat of attack as a way to limit freedoms and gain complete control of a nation is not a new tactic. It was effectively used by Hitler to control Muppet Germany. It is also well established that FDR knew about Pearl Harbor prior to the attack, yet failed to act to prevent it.

Finally, the use of the terrorist threat to engage in unjust wars (where are the weapons of mass destruction, anyway?), and the subsequent erosion of civil liberties (PATRIOT Act) indicates that the government has an agenda, and is not above using the 9/11 attacks and the threat of any future attacks to justify its actions.

BTW, one of the 9/11 widows has filed a federal lawsuit against Bush, et. al. under the RICO Act, asserting that they had prior knowledge of the attacks, yet failed to prevent them. This complaint can be viewed here:

http://www.criminalpolitics.com/home.html#anchor233071

It will be interesting to see the outcome of this case.

I could go on and on about this topic, but I prefer to let others arrive at their own conclusions. I know this is a hot topic, so please kind smile.gif

I think Princess Di was suffering from paranoia which is a symptom of mental illness. She was in a way a threat to Charles because of her popularity but remember she threatened Camilla? I think they were fed up with the media and Dodi, trying to be a hero, encouraged speeding. It was interesting about the landmines, she died the day before they were banned after speaking publicly against them.

hmm 9/11 isn't it like 911 ... guess Osama thought it well ...

Conspiracy: yes it exists. They rule our day by day life. Don't you think? (someone lies about something to hide it from you - you can never be sure that he/she lied until you see it with your own eyes, and maybe when you see it people start calling you a madman)

The only conspiracy I accept is : the francmason (or the masons) - the most secret organization in the world that controls everything (that;s my opinion).

BTW: have you ever seen the secrets on the 1 dollar bill ? hehe .. will search for the page to show it to you tongue.gif

Let's see if you all agree with me that this is faulty reasoning. On another forum I'm on (Exposing Satanism & Witchcraft), there is a member who is convinced that the Illuminati exists and controls everything. His proof (other than "evidence" and "testimony" from someone I rate no higher than a BS artist, Bill Schnoebelen): look at all the websites exposing their activities!

Look at the number of websites dedicated to Vampire: the Masquerade. Vampires must secretly run the world!

Look at the number of websites that claim man never went to the moon! Guess we never went.

etc.

etc.

etc.

ad nauseum... smile.gif

I know there's much more to life in general than meets the eye.
And I cannot believe our world leaders, with all their contacts in high places, do not know this.
I also think power has great appeal, and great power can corrupt like a $1000,000,000 would corrupt most men, and absolute power (if you can grasp such a thing with a human mind) would corrupt almost any man, like the ring from LOTR.

Also don't underestimate the power of denial,
and the willingness of the masses to believe in an easy reality (honesty tends to hurt more than sweet lies - "ignorance is bliss"?),
and also the belief of the masses in 'authorities'.

FBI Agent Warned of 911 Months Before it Happened
Sibel Edmonds, a former translator for the FBI who speaks Azerbaijani, Farsi, Turkish and English and has a top-secret security clearance, says the claim by Condoleezza Rice that there was no information about al-Qaeda planning airplane strikes before 911 is "an outrageous lie" because she provided that information to the government herself, a few months before the attack.
Andrew Buncombe writes in the Independent that Edmonds told this to the government panel investigating 911 during a 3-hour closed session. She told them the FBI had information in the spring and summer of 2001 that an attack using airplanes was only months away and the terrorists were in place in the U.S. The Bush administration has tried to silence her.

Edmonds says, "I gave [the commission] details of specific investigation files, the specific dates, specific target information, specific managers in charge of the investigation. I gave them everything so that they could go back and follow up. This is not hearsay. These are things that are documented. These things can be established very easily. There was general information about the time-frame, about methods to be used?but not specifically about how they would be used?and about people being in place and who was ordering these sorts of terror attacks. There were other cities that were mentioned. Major cities?with skyscrapers."

She was hired as an FBI translator on September 13, 2001, two days after the attacks, to translate documents and FBI wire-taps. She says, "Two hundred translators side by side, you get to see and hear a lot of?things...President Bush said they had no specific information about September 11 and that is accurate but only because he said September 11." She says that although the exact date wasn?t known, the administration knew an attack using airplanes was only months away.

Condoleezza Rice says, "Despite what some have suggested, we received no intelligence that terrorists were preparing to attack the homeland using airplanes as missiles, though some analysts speculated that terrorists might hijack planes to try and free U.S.-held terrorists."

Edmonds says, "Rice says 'we' not 'I.' That would include all people from the FBI, the CIA and DIA [Defense Intelligence Agency]. I am saying that is impossible."

Captured terrorist Khalid Shaikh Mohammed has told U.S. interrogators that al-Qaeda was planning attacks on the Library Tower in Los Angeles and the Sears Tower in Chicago, right after the September 11 attacks.

The Washington Times reports that Mohammed says, "We were looking for symbols of economic might." They picked the Library Tower in Los Angeles because it was 'blown up' in the film 'Independence Day.'" This confirms an earlier report that al-Qaeda originally planned to crash airliners into targets on both coasts. It?s also part of Mohammed's legal "defense" ?he says he couldn't have been part of 911 attacks, since he was busy preparing for a different terrorist attack.

What stopped them? Mohammed says Zacarias Moussaoui, who is facing trial in the U.S. as the "20th hijacker," had been sent to a flight school in Minnesota to train for a West Coast attack, but he got caught before he could carry it out. Mohammed says, "The original plan was for a two-pronged attack with five targets on the East Coast of America and five on the West Coast. We talked about hitting California as it was America's richest state, and bin-Laden had talked about economic targets." But bin-Laden vetoed simultaneous coast-to-coast attacks, saying "it would be too difficult to synchronize." Instead, they planned for two waves of attacks, hitting the East Coast first and then the West Coast. He says, "Osama had said the second wave should focus on the West Coast."

But some people knew it was gonna happen.
And some people made a LOT of money from it.

Conspiracy Theories and those who research them, and run the possibilities over and over in their "mad minds"... omg i love them, i could listen to them for hours.

i used to work with some ppl that were into the net long before anyone else i knew. Every morning i would listen to them talking about theories and possible scenarios and i came to the conclusion that for every so called "nut case theory" thrown at us, there is a grain of truth... a glimmer of possibility. (Some of the things that occurred to them actually came to pass)
