Not necessarily a complaint, but something that I think would save us all a TON of headaches!

For the next generation of PTC/PTR scripts, I would like to see something included that would send a confirmation e-mail to those who redeem their earnings for cash payments or advertising. I know that several sites state that repeated clicking of redemption buttons will result in earnings deduction and/or deletion, but when there isn't any indication by the website (except for the obligatory "We have received your request..." page that loads immediately after redemption) that the request was received. Even the sites that tell you that once the redemption button is clicked, the earnings will be immediately reduced to reflect the redemption don't always do this.

I am a member of several sites that threaten earnings reduction/deletion for repeated redemption requests, and I understand that people that click multiple times per day or week clog up the situation for the rest of us, but I would like to have some sort of e-mail documentation that I could follow up with the webmaster with. When my earnings aren't reduced and/or the request isn't indicated, I feel like I'm just sitting on my hands when an e-mail would at least let me know that the redemption request was received and is being reviewed.

Thanks for letting me get that off my chest! Not trying to start any trouble (I'm a patient person, and can wait 30 days for a payout), but just wanting to try and voice an opinion that might benefit us all in the end! smile.gif

I have been thinking about that also and think it would be a great idea?

At least you would have something dated showing when you requested pay out or what ever?

Boy do I agree with that !! Especially when they say they will penalize you for requesting again.

The most professional reply to a payment request for me came from the Click Vault, which is a very simple site. They sent an email acknowledging my request and asked me to reply to it to verify it was me. Then I got payment very soon after.

Hello,

Even though it is still under tesing for next 10 days so far.
My new script can allow members to see the redemption history in their stats area

What did you redeemed ( if ad, the ad discription)
How much, or how many points
The time recode you redeemed
The stats if waiting for admin release, or processing

I don't know if I can post my new site URL here or not.
so if you are interested in, please PM me

On CC scripted sites the option is already there on the
members earnings page.

If a redemption is made by a member and an ammount such as
1c is deducted at the time of redemption then it states on the
members earnings page

Time and date of redemption etc
