Full Version: InboxDollars have stolen my money!!!

I WAS extremely happy to discover that InboxDollars had added $5 per referral (at cashout).

So I spent what little money I had received from the "Paid To" scene advertising their ###### program.

I was extremely happy to see that I managed to pick up about forty referrals (which surprised me because at the time it was quite an old program).

Great!!
40 referrals cashing out @ $5 each = $200 = Wow!
That doesn't include the money I would make from the paid e-mail also.

BUT ALAS!!
I am unable to access my account, I have had no notification as to why, nor can I find any contact details.
I will be on the war path until my account is re-opened and EVERY cent and EVERY referral is given back to me.

I have HAD IT with this sort of thing happening on the GPT scene, and I will be insisting on compensation in this case.

INBOXDOLLARS - GET IT SORTED NOW!!!

I am clearly upset about this amount of money being stolen from me, and I want it back!!!

...I had also shelled out on their GOLD membership, which gives me another level for referrals.

GIVE ME MY ###### ACCOUNT BACK YOU SCUMMY GETS!!!!

Their contact page is very difficult to find...you have to go to the FAQ page (use the tab at top) and scroll all the way down to the bottom under the question header "This FAQ didn't answer my question, what should I do?". There is a link in that paragraph that brings you to the contact page.
Actually, what the hell am I doing...here:

Sorry, I should have just done that instead of blathering on...
QuarkBomb
Thanks rw, I'll be certain to get on to them!!

STILL no response from these thieving gets!!!
Brenda@PJ
gits? you mean? Of course, 'gets' would be appropriate in this case.
QuarkBomb
No, git is the polite way of saying "get", always has been.

These people are gets!
QuarkBomb
I've just checked my site stats for this year, and I've discovered that the second most popular page, is the sign up page for InboxDollars.

Coincidence I think!!??
QuarkBomb
Still no ###### reply (am I surprised?)

So I have e-mailed them AGAIN!!!

---------------------------------
THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT YOU. NOW REPLY!!!!

I can not access my account.
WHY NOT?
Where is the money you owe plus my referrals?? I want the signup bonus for my referrals, that I had to pay a Gold Membership to get.
Now give me my account and money back!!!

RESPOND!!!!

Reply:

Your account was probably removed due to inactivity. We send two emails
before your account is deleted for notification purposes. Since you were a
gold member, if you signup again, I will upgrade your account to gold member
status.

Sincerely,

My Reply:

I received no such e-mails, I screen my e-mails very carefully for claims such as these. They did not come.
I like(d) InboxDollars a great deal, and made sure to click on all the mails they sent me, unfortunately, they were few and far between.

I also had 40 referrals under me, assuming that half of these reached payout level, that would be (20 x $5 = ) $100 !!
What about my referrals.

I hope the term you use "removed" isn't as permanent as it sounds. I want my money and referrals back!
QuarkBomb
Reply:

Yes, your account has been permanently removed. As I said, we send two
notices before we take such action. Perhaps your mail account was full,
and that's why you did not receive them. Or, perhaps there is a SPAM
filter that does not allow our mail to reach your server.

My Reply:

Neither are true.
My spam filter is permanently off, and my e-mails are downloaded and moved
onto my hard drive to protect against anything like this happening ever.

funny how this kind of "coincidence" happens just as you reach payout, or max out on referrals. The same thing happened to me with DollarsLove. I was just shy of the $40 redemption mark and all of a sudden I "must confirm my email before logging in". AND, their contact reply comes up as a 404 Error!

I'm so ###### off!

I feel I must also say that I am ever-so-slightly, completely annoyed by InboxDollars!!!

QuarkBomb,

First of all, I apologize for my absence on this board. Quark, I wish I had been here to answer your concerns earlier.

Before InboxDollars was upgraded to the CotterWeb paid-to-read script, our method for removing inactive members was to remove their account from our database after they failed to respond to two warning messages. Obviously, this was not a very good method -- part of the process a web site goes through as it grows and matures.

However, I do absolutely guarantee you that your account was not removed because you were "getting close to payment". InboxDollars has never and will never resort to such tactics. Members who have been a part of InboxDollars for a long time will attest to that.

Further, the $5.00 per referral is only credited to your account when your referral requests their first payment. So your 40 referrals does not equate to $200 or even $100 -- they are worth nothing until they request payment.

Since you were a gold member, I am more than happy to upgrade your account to Gold Member status should you wish to join our program again. If not, I understand, and hope that you will accept my apology.

Hmm, haven't we heard this all before?

Lets think?

Hmm?

Thats it

PAIDBIZOPSCAM!!!

Exactly the same scenario

Deleting Gold Members, denying its because they're nearing cashout, tut, tut, tut.

Are you SURE you're not Bob Bowen?

Positive?

I am absolutely done with this forum, FOREVER. I will only post this message in ONE spot, so someone please take the liberty to quote it in other places.

I posted here tonight regarding PaidBizOpMail to ease everyone's mind and let them know what was going on. To make money from you? NO. I urge anyone who no longer wishes to receive email from PaidBizOpMail to cancel their account -- I would do the same in your shoes.

As I post this information, I release the fact that I own InboxDollars (http://www.inboxdollars.com) as well as CotterWeb Enterprises (http://www.cotterweb.net). In return, several sarcastic comments are slapped in my face about InboxDollars, as well as a link to previous threads regarding complaints about InboxDollars.

Being a responsible site owner, I immediately responded to these claims. Response to those responses? Severe criticism for creating more than one account on this forum (I'M SORRY ALREADY), criticism for digging up old threads (which I did not do, it was done by another user), and now this intolerable post. Are you kidding me Brian? In 3 years, the number of complaints about InboxDollars like this one can be counted on two hands. Regardless, I hold firm in my explanation that the account was removed due to inactivity. But you don't even care about that. All you care about is making snyde comments. Oh, gold member, account removed, must be a SCAMMER, right? Never mind the fact that InboxDollars has paid well over $100,000 to its members in its 3 years of operation.

Sorry for all of you people who might benefit from me answering your comments and concerns. I will not ever post to this forum again without a sincere apology from Brian, which will never happen. I can be reached at the following email addresses for anyone who has questions:

Im sorry to hear about the problems here. ah.gif

I just want to say that I have been paid by InboxDollars.

I was paid $10, right before the minimum payout was raised.

And I am a Gold Member.

I am nearing payout again, and hope everything goes well, because this has been one of my favorites. ai.gif
