What the best way to get referrals?

Buying and then sending ads ... gets you refs!
If you don't have money to start .. then join some sites that you can earn by yourself the minimum payout and then promote with the money
It's hard to start from 0 ... and getting refs!

Once you reach the requied number of osts try looking in downline builder for a program you would like to join. Make sure you read the rules though. dOwnline builder is a great way to get a head start on some porgrams.

Ah.....If only it were that simple....
It really depends on the program, when you advertise it, and WHERE you advertise it. I have paid for ads that have gotten me 1 referral and LOST tons of money.
You really have to know what you are doing when you plan on promoting a program

mvanantwerpen is right, it really depends where you advertise not so much to how many clicks. I advertised an add at heavenly to 250 and got 6 refs, i did the same thing the next day at bettybucks to all(1000+) and got 1 ref one add was over 20$ the other was 1.25
so you never now
I suggest sending and add to limited amount of peaple first 250-500 and see what that brings you.

You can also try manual hit exchange programs except ads.

Like Jordan said, some redeem for ads only programs bring good results, like TigerAds, Earn4Cash, etc. You don't have to spend any $$, just earn and redeem. That way you won't have to spend.

Well if you want the best chance to get referrals, advertise a site when it just launches...After all, MORE people have NOT seen it so are MORE likely to sign up

Be sure that you ask people to sign up at a program that works and can be trusted, '
Also build a homepage
or use PTSU
or try to get your friends in.
Also when you need a big downline to be paid, consider if you wish to stay.

I still advertise using my earnings. When I get some e-gold, I look for sites with low rates but sometimes the results aren't good

IMO buying ref isn't a good idea...if they join because ya paid 'em then they can just as easily unsub, take your money and get someone else to pay and so on

I have not had good luck upgrading to gold, for getting referrals anyway...I look at gold memberships for the ad values.
Advertise for programs you want to be in for a while or new programs that are run by a wm you trust. Nothing worse than building a nice downline in a scam program (been there, done that). Don't rush to advertise, take your time and do a little research, it will benefit you in the long run.

Aside from advertising using various methods, you can also buy leads and send
them an email to your entire leads and promote your ptre program.
or
You can use a co-registration services such as leadfactory.com where you can
buy a subscriber for about .25 cents each, some are as low as .05 cents but the
quality is not as good.
You get what you pay for.
Here's how it works.
Let's say you are using an online form like the one I'm using in my sig file (LSN)
where leadfactory can send you subscribers. All you have to do is pay leadfactory
say $150 bucks for 350 subscribers. Leadfactory can send your subscribers thru
that online form.
As soon as you have received your 350 subscribers, you can tell them about your
favorite ptre program or any other program for that matter.
There's so many subscription forms that you can use like Freenetleads.com or
Listfire.com they are all free.
I hope that makes sense.
