In an email to it's members the webmistress of we paid explains that the Aug. Point Value will be affected due to a paypal mishap with a advertiser purchasing an ad..

I was just notified by PayPal that payment made August 13th, 2002 for
a paid ad to 7000 WePaid members worth $63.99 was reversed, due to
reports of fraudulent credit card use. Unfortunately, this will affect
August\'s point value. For the benefit of others, the details given were:
Buyer\'s Name: Pier Marco Daina
Buyer\'s Email: paidling@ Account Type: International -
Verified.

This has caused the following change to be made: WePaid will require
anyone who wishes to send an ad have a WePaid member account with
earnings.
