Hello!
I am Ritesh Nigam from India. We are launching our new website earnfreedollars.com
Although Paid-to Programs are common in US & UK, it is still a new thing for Indians.
We would like to be the member of your website and build downline, but , when we talk about India, there are certain issues which have to be sorted out.
1. Can you handle the Traffic?
India has largest no. of graduates as well as IT Professionals and since Computer Education in school is must these days, every year millions of indians are getting Web Savvy.
The exchange ratio from US dollar to Indian Rupees is around 50. That means If someone gets just 200 US $ from Get Paid Programs in one month, that will be Rs 10,000. An average salary is somewhere around Rs 5,000-8,000 for working professionals.
It will be too easy to get at least 1 million users within a short span of 1-2years, as everyone like to earn from net.
Can you handle that traffic?? Can you still be able to pay them? how you are going to convince your US advertisers, when you have a large no. of Indian audience??
2. PC penetration is still low, so a majority of Intenet Surfers access Internet through Cyber cafe, Offices and Institutes.
Now when you access Internet through these above places, you share IP. so how are you going to manage this?
If 10 people checked their email from Cyber Cafe who will be credited? The first one or none?
3. All major institutes have leased lines and 24 hr Internet Access. Our research shows that students are really very willing to go for Paid- To programs, but their concern is about payment as well as wheter they will be credited if they check emails from institute computer centre.
What can be done about that?
I hope that this email will give you right picture about the status of Internet in India.
Please hep us to get a better understanding of Paid-to programs and how can you mould your program so as to get a big no. of members to your site as well as a transparent method of crediting & payment to Indian audience.
Thanks,
Ritesh Nigam

Actually India have a very high number of computer graduates and because other countries need people who work in computers so much a lot of Indians move abroad to fill those jobs, including USA and UK.

Hi,
I am an Indian too and I have my own comp with dsl connection. So I wont be having any problems with common ip addreses
And iggy- SHUT UP. You dont know anything about India. Just because India doesnt have computer penetration doesnt mean the government isnt working properly.
For ur information people have to buy computers for higher penetration. Did ur governement give u a free computer?
India has an excellent education system which produces a huge number of IT professionals. If you dont believe me just go to california or new jersey. Its full of Indians

Im not saying Indians are stupid. All im saying is that these people seem to think that they deserve special treatment for some reason. I have read many posts talking about cheaters coming from India.

I'm an Indian too.
When Tombmailer was apprehensive of some Indians cheating, I personally mailed her and ensured that my a/c does not removed along with others and she obliged....many thanks to her.
The PC penetration is on a high in the recent few months, thanks to dropping hardware prices and a rampant software piracy (MS can't do much in home front !!).
One of the problems I see is the internet bandwidth. As of now, a normal dial-up internet connection has a latency of 600 to 800 ms which is too much when compared to the 60 to 100 ms in US. Even in my office where we have a 1.5 Mbps fibre link, the latency is 300 ms.....still too high.
The second is the forex limitations and the way money travels to India from abroad. Paypal recognizes India as one of the countries for a/c opening purposes......not for sending money. Even if someone from India earn a few dollars through GPTR sites, how will they get it in hand ? Fortunately, I've a friend in US who sends me cash/draft for a small fee. Not many would have this facility !!
But, I hope to see things getting more stabler and clearer.

The point is from where i see it is that many indians (also chinese ) are using public computers from universities, hospitals, cyber cafes, institutions, workplaces and this causes problems if more than worker/student signs up. How can we tell if this is one or 30 people? To be safe they need to use their OWN pc and only ONE person per pc to signup per program.
Is it possible to cash cheques in India? or is it a certain kind of wire draft?

Yes. It is possible to cash cheques here.Takes a long while(about a month) using citibank, but other banks encash them within a week.
