I signed up for Princegate (the new competition for paypal). They promised me a free account, plus approx. $10 for signing up, and $10 per referral. I signed up, got several referrals, and then after a couple of weeks, they sent me an email saying I had to "activate" my account with a $10 deposit. If you don't pay them the $10, you don't get your sign-up bonus or the money for your referrals, and your referrals don't count until they pay $10!! When I emailed them, they said when I cancel the account (if they're still in business), my money would be returned, that's why it's considered "free". What a scam!!

I would be VERY WARY of giving any of my personal info to these people. When they first came out I naturally checked out the site, and found it very confusing. I also noticed that the support e-mail was an aol.com address. Not very professional. I have also seen posted elsewhere these same concerns. They could very well be out to steal bank/credit card info.

I never did signup with them.
When I first looked over the site, something just didn't seem right....
