The PTC section of some PTRs seems to have make some changes. Everytime I click a new banner, a new window comes out. That makes me have to close the previous window and it costs me some time. I would like to know what is the aim of this change. rolleyes.gif

might have to do with catching cheaters? On most sites the ptc banners are supposed to be viewed one at a time (yes that does take a very long time, might be why I dont get to the ptc pages on sites a lot) but I guess the thinking on this is, people are paying for the ads, if we view them one at a time we will more then likely ``read`` them, if you have 3 or 4 open at once you may not be reading them , but of cource the down part is, if you already belong to the site, OR its a ad that 3 people sent and then its either click it and wait for your money/points or just skip it and miss out on a 1/4 penny or 10 points (just a example LOL)
of cource I could be wrong so hopefully a w/m or 2 come and answer your question, it is just a guess for me smile.gif

I am not sure what the purpose was. It's part of an upgrade.

Is there an option in the script upgrade to disable the new feature ? For alot of people ptcs can be very time consuming already.

It was explained to me that John said it was because some browser had trouble with the old way it was done.

I don't mind the opening in a new window at all.

But, I don't use Netscape or IE so I don't have their associated problems.

Well, I belong to 5 sites who have started doing this, 2 I am close to payout then I'm gone, 1 is new, 1 I'll stick with cause I like the WM, and well the last one, being Nascar is so close guess I'll stick it out for a little while. What I don't do is click on links I know have popups like, SAS, Mako, and a few PTR's. Seems to me they are setting up just another way to get around popup killers. sad.gif

Kim
