Don't know if this has been covered regarding the cheat turing numbers, but a couple of times tonight I have had a few links that haven't loaded when I clicked on them (via email on a couple of sites). So when I've tried again, I get the "you clicked the wrong turing number message".

I know a lot of sites are giving a bit of leeway on the number of wrong numbers we've hit and up to now I've not hit the wrong number once, but these none loading links are giving me "wrong turing number" marks and I just hope any sites that only give you a few chances take this into consideration.

Are there any sites that only give you a handful of chances?

Only one I know of, personally, is MythicalMail.
darned if I can remember if it was 10 or 15 chances tho.

I think that these turing numbers are bollocks.

They should never have been implemented. And defenitly not with a chance of getting deleted because of them. Its rediculous.

Getting the wrong number might be very easy.
I know that my brother has problems with seeing what numbers are there, and therefore he sometimes clicks the wrong one. We dont know why, but it looks all jumbled to him when they are in those squares. Now if he got deleted because of it, they would have lost a very decent asset. He is extremely active. He does PTC everyday, presses all links, unless they are searches, which he doesnt do.
And he is a decent promoter.

Besides that, this is just another way of getting rid of people.

Just my two cents.

10 - 15, is that in a lifetime or do they reset every week or so?

If so, you only need a few days when the links are loading properly and your account could be getting deleted.

I dont mind the turing numbers at all except for three things:

on some sites they can take a full minute or more to load [the site completely loads first]
on one site, the numbers are almost unrecognizable as numbers
and the last is due to my impatience,,when i see two of the #s loaded i can pretty well guess what the answer is going to be,,but i wait,,and wait,,and WAIT,,,clicker poised,,for the full number to be revealed..i go to finallllllllly click..and the whole darn turing/answer thing jumps a bit sideways on the page, leaving the cursor sitting over a completely different number. never clicked a bad one yet, but..be still my beating heart!

LoL! i hope i don't belong to a site that only allows 10 invalid clicks. that's blatant abuse. if we were to implement a rule like that, we'd have to delete our entire membership. when i do a search for invalid clicks, i limit my search to those who have missed 100 or more. afterall, we're looking for bots! some members have browser problems, some with dial-up are having time-out errors, some have eyesight problems or shakey hands, etc. grrrrrrr!

Glad to hear that Trayse coz I have already had two error readings while I was doing my PTC at Mikes. I swear I pressed the right number and the ad loaded up alright and I got the credit but when the PTC page reloaded it said error you pressed the wrong number press continue to continue sad.gif

editted coz I still can't spell

I've been posting about this problem almost since the turing numbers came up.

The site I've had the most problems has been cash crazy mails. They have a 15 invalid click limit. I'm behind on emails so I read one where the po said to contact her if you are having probs with the turing numbers, so I emailed and explained sometimes the number doesnt load when doing paid to click banners and sometimes my browser hangs so that I have to reconnect to the net or open the link in another window and try again. Then a mail from the next day, she said dont bother emailing me I dont want to hear any more about these turing links, you shouldnt be having any more problems with them.

I think I have had about 9 or 10 error messages on this site, so that gives me about 5 or 6 more then I get deleted for having a bad internet connection?? I hope like anything that isnt what she meant and that she will take these problems into consideration. Even if it's 15 clicks per month, I would have to put my account on vacation for the rest of the month to make sure I dont have to reclick any links that dont load.

I will not be impressed if any po deletes people for a few invalid turing numbers anyway. Like people have said, some people have number dyslexia, some have eyesight or movement problems. Wait until all of the problems are corrected before deleting solely for 15 invalid clicks in a month please.

I seeked and searchered and found my previously incorrect post on the subject .
(feel free to add puncuation where needed smile.gif)

All the email I rec'd said was: 10 clicks and you're gone "without notice"

(i'd said mystical instead of mythical in previous thread)

but the email was from Lynn of myThical.

afk to buy some blonde hair dye and recover my dummy couch, it's so worn out from over use. laugh.gif

I am on cable internet and some of the numbers still don't load properly, so it's not just a dial-up issue.

And, due to some of the flashing graphics, which aggravate a medical condition I have, I usually have my settings to where graphics aren't allowed to load. It's a nightmare with PTC sections that have cheat banners that aren't labeled properly! sad.gif

And, yep, Lynn, of Mythical Mail has said 10 wrong clicks on the turing numbers and you'll be deleted without notice. I don't know if that's 10 in a month - or 10 in a lifetime ...... either way ..... I have the feeling there'll be a lot less members of Mythical Mail really soon. sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif

i am really getting sick of these numbers too while doing searches at mec co opt they com up every few clicks. I am tired of all the extra clicking, non loading of numbers and being told i clicked the wrong one when I know for sure that I did not clik the wrong numbers.

these thing are just a royal pain once or twice a day on a site is fine but every few clicks just plain sucks

I have had the same problem with Cashcrazymails, it said that I clicked the wrong number, but I am absolutely sure I clicked the right one, 'cause I allways let the load complitely and I often find miself kissing the monitor tryng to read on some unreadable ones, so I never click unless I am 110% sure.

Didnt bother to write to WM, 'cause Was first time, but I am sure I clicked the right one!

Never happened on other sites untill now, but sometimes they take forever to load dry.gif
