I get 300 emails from this company...
I am really mad this time because I never received such spam message. This is my first time to receive 300 emails from one person....
kglaser
I'm sorry cloud, I can't answer you, as I've never gotten this many spams from one person
But I've a somewhat related question...if I get some mails that aren't from a safelist, that say I'm receiving them because I posted to their FFA page or whatever, or they say it's a one-time mailing, or "to be removed click here", are any or all of those actually spams? Can I report them? If so, how? Thanks for any info.
NetDough
Yes you could report them but to who I am not sure unless I could see the spam. I would not, under any circumstances, click the remove links. Often these result in more spam because then they know that email is valid.

If you have POP3 email, sorry this doesn't work with Hotmail at this time, then get MailWasher.

You can blacklist certain emails or whole domains, add to friends lists certain emails or whole domains and bounce any that are spam.

If you are not sure you can preview the message as well including full headers.

Best of all? It is free!! Well unless you want to donate something.

Here is the link:

And the site design is pretty great too. Definitely fits the theme. LOL.

You can report them at http://spamcop.net/anonsignup.shtml . Never used this service but have heard others say it works. You can also report them to the company they host with. Most hosts have rules about spamming and the better hosts enforce them. As NetDough said I wouldn't recommend clicking on the remove link either as it seems to generate more spam. If you use Outlook you can delete incoming messages from the server so you never see them. If you don't know how to do this pm me and I'll explain (anybody). I won't put it here because it may be useless info for most. I also tried MailWasher, it does do what it's supposed to, I just found it's easier deleting the garbage from the server and keeps me from having an extra program on my computer that's not necessary.

kglaser, base on my experiences with posting at FFA sites, I think you just better forget about it. They will spam you. So, you better create a new email address if you want to post a link in a FFA site. Even you already click "remove me" or whatsoever, they will send you emails.
But, in some FFA sites, probably not, maybe it is better to read the Terms and Conditions first.
Anyway, my advice is that just create a new email address if you want to post at a FFA site.

Today, I don't receive any email from that company anymore. It's really crazy. I have been using internet since 1995, and this is my FIRST time I ever received such many emails from one person....300+ emails...

I delete most of the spam, but I DO report porno to Spam Cop. It must be working, because since I started reporting it, I'm getting a LOT LESS porno. It's gone from dozens a day down to a few a week.

FYI, I have NEVER used my personal email address to post to FFA sites. I have also NEVER used my freeandeasyonline addresses to post at FFA sites. Yet I get loads of spam saying I'm receiving this message because I posted at an FFA site.
That's just something spammers came up with to try to keep themselves from getting in trouble.
