Just checked their Help page, and I see this!

After you have earned $50 in your account a "Request Payment" button will automatically appear on your earnings page. Press the button and your request will automatically be sent to our accounts payable department.

It was $10 yesterday, and they've done this without telling us!!

ARGH!! Unless this goes back down to $10...I'm deleting my account. I'll never reach payout otherwise!!!!

Ohmigod, you're right! Well, let's just hope that it's a typo or something because there are inconsistancies regarding this throughout the site.

Here's what it says in Terms:

members. Members will be informed of any and all changes to this

I understand how most programs say that they can change things without prior notification, but her terms also state that members will be informed of changes via an email, and I dunno about you, but I know I never got any such email. On this terms page it also lists payout still at $10. It took me forever to try to find this info because the pages still take forever to load ever since the site was moved and a lot of times even when it seems to fully load, a lot of the info is not there...it's just like a shell.

Going on a little quest for this info I also noticed that we get paid in points too. I didn't know we had points or how I got any. I tried to find info about it but either I'm just blind or there is nothing there explaining how you get them or what they are for.

Oh, and regarding the $50 redeption again (sorry for skipping around )

Well unless the site just isn't finished yet, I don't see any such section in "earnings" where a button would appear for the redemption. Then again, the way that I always seem to have problems loading this site, maybe I just don't see it. Anyone else have problems with very slow loading/the link "hanging" and missing data when it does load "fully"?

It's been loading slowly for me the last few weeks(and I have a fast internet connection) but I assumed it had something to do with the work on the site.

I was just on TOS page on copper coins and it still says payout is at $10.

Wonder if it was a mistake or if I she hasn't edited that page yet.

Nope, I haven't got any email stating the minimum payout had changed. That is what annoys me more than anything; not notifying us.

dragonfly - about the redemption section, I think Carole (the webmaster of both CopperCoins and MEC-Co-Op-Paidmail) announced that you will be paid automatically when you reach, well what was $10, whether it's now $50 I don't know because as you say there is conflicting evidence.

I think I'll email Carole and get her to clarify the situation.

Good news! Minimum payout is $10. Here's Carole's response:

I am glad there is a reasonable explanation. I knew Carole was more levelheaded than that and I was surprised to read that she did something like that (well, she didn't, it was just a misprint)

Sorry it took so long, i just found this thread.

First of all I'll never raise payouts, if anything i would lower them.

Coppercoins started at $10 payout and will remain so until i lower it.

I cannot lower it now because we don't have enough paid advertisers, something i don't understand because i do so well with mec-co-op-paidmail with paid ads.

Check our ad rates
You may redeem any part of your earnings for a 1cent ad @ 1cent each.
Example : redeem $3 and send a 1cent mail to the first 300 clickers.
