My website is ready to go. I got media, pictures, articles, tools, everything set up on my Outdoors website. I've got cj.com banners up as well with free-banners.com service and adsense by google. I have also registered into fishing and hunting top 100 search engines and have my site in 500 engines and indexs such as google, aol, open directory, looksmart, msn and so on. but still i only get 5 visitors a day. My site is great and loaded with everything and i'm just wondering some of the things i can do to get more traffic. Any help would br great! thanks jag

Try some manual surf exchanes to get some people there and interested.. Search for forums with a similar topic and post about your site there......try Yahoo Groups to look for groups that might be interested in your website.

Good luck smile.gif

you just have to see some other sites and accumalate credits(points) and u can use those credits to display ur own site i.e what trafficexchanging is.

If you've got a genuinely useful website that has nothing to do with the 'GetPaid' world (which it sounds like you have), using traffic exchanges is probably not what you are looking for.

Try finding other websites with similar content to yours, if they have a links page, contact the webmaster and ask to have your link added (you could offer to do the same back on your website).

Also, give search engines a while. Although some will have your site indexed within a few days, some will take months.

If you haven't done so already, go to dmoz.org and submit your site to the relevant category. This (in the long term), will bring you a lot of traffic.

And if you've got money to spend, because your site has specialist content, you could try advertising it in magazines of the same content.

Please PM me the URL of your site and I'll look through it and give you some more suggestions smile.gif.

Well My site is part specialist and advice but some about making money also. I got affiliate banners and a vstore... But I would still have this site trying to make money with it or not.......

To get more visitors you need to optimise the pages for search engine traffic. I hear figures quoting anything up to 85% of ALL search engine traffic comes from Google (or a SE using Google as its main feed - eg. Yahoo, AOL) so optimise for them. How, is too much to write here but there are hundreds of sites telling you how to do this...kinda time consuming it is too, but it's pretty much the only way to get a decent flow of non-artificial traffic. PM me if you want some links/tips.
