This is another program that shortly after opening made a change to the conditions:
No more Egold. Despite the fact that is enough reason to complain (why was E-Gold offered in the first only to be changed later? No sufficient explanation was given on this issue), I decided to stick with this program and did not complain.

However, I was encountering another problem: With the new scripts, for every change made in the user area you have to type in your password. For some reason I did not have the email address on file with the log-in details (I use a different password for each program, and do keep the sign up emails, however was unable to find the one for Backdraftemails) As my password is automatically remembered by my Mozilla browser, I did not have problem accessing the site, however, I did not have the password, nor would I reach the member log-in page (I was directly logged in), to ask for the password via the 'forgot password link'.

I emailed the PO twice about it, and never received a reply. Instead another email to all members was sent yesterday, threateneing to delete members that have not changed their payout info. I sent a third email to the PO again explaining the situation, only to find out today that my account was deleted.

Sorry, but this is certainly unacceptable. I have written to the PO three email indicating why I could not change my info, requesting help.

In summary (an email has also been sent to the PO in this regards), I certainly to not wish to be a member of a program treating its members this way, but I do expect to be paid every penny of what I had in my account until yesterday.

Just a word of warning to others with regards to this program.

wink.gif Hmm.... everyday I contact them, I get responces very quick.

Well, I never received a reply to my email, requesting help on the password.

Next thing I know my account is deleted.

If I don't hear back to the last email I sent requesting to know why I was deleted and if I don't receive the money I had in my account, I would definitely have to determine that this is a scam program.

To get your password all you have to do is click "lost password" or whatever and the script will email your password to you.

With regards to you having to enter your password to save your user information, all sites that are running on the current Cash Crusaders script require you to do this.
jkjo
sorry to hear that, naama sad.gif

i haven't joined this program yet,
and i don't think i'll join it anyways..
had enough of that threatening thing.

Britbabe, please read my post above:

So, no I could not retrieve the password via the 'lost password' link.

Use a different browser, go to that site and click forgot pw, or pm me ur Email and ill request the pw 4 u

Well, it's too late now, I was deleted already (for requesting my password !!).

You're right, and I thought about it, but my other browser (IE) is very unstable on my PC and often freezes my machine. Also I figured that the PO would surely help me out, and send me my password. How long can that take to accomplish? Certainly not more than 5 seconds to read my email and another 5 to send me the password.

Unfortunately she rather took advantage of the situation and deleted my account (one less member to pay ...)
ThePatriot
Maybe the PO has just been busy.

Oh, don't be silly. You could have requested your password by putting in your email address, and you would have received it in your inbox, regardless of whatever browser you are using. Doesn't seem that difficult, does it? dry.gif

And no, you were probably not deleted for requesting your password, you were deleted because you still had egold as a payout option in your user info.

Backdraftmails is not a scam at all.

in the future... if you find yourself logged in and need to access your password or retrieve it, in most cases you will find a logout option in your navigation bar (earning stats, etc.) Logout and request your password when you try to login again.

I agree, it is not a scam.

I am wondering if it is not a scam 'cause so many persons haven't received their earnings even if their paypal acccount info is definitly correct. I sent email to the owner, no response.

rolleyes.gif People are so quick to complain

The egold was taken away because the WM wanted to make sure that he would have cash on hand to make payments when members requested....instead of having to get a transfer to egold, which can take days if you need a lot. rolleyes.gif

As for the password thing, thats been explained already.

I think I agree with Annie, everyone was asked to change their payment info when egold was no longer an option. rolleyes.gif

I am making no comment on whether the WM should have gotten back to you or not. Or whether you should have tried a support folder for that site. (Which you might try now to get a response.)

However, as an fyi for the future; if you had logged out of the site and then gone back to it, put in your user name, tabbed to the password line (where your password would have been remembered) AND added another letter or number to your password (making it incorrect), you would have gotten to the lost password screen.

Anneonline, may I suggest in future you carefully read the posts you are replying to. I had well explained why I could NOT request my password by entering my address, as has been suggested by you.

And yes, I was probably deleted because I had E-Gold, but I had advised the PO that I had a problem changing my payout info, as has been mentioned in my post.

Thanks for your lecture anyway. I indeed consider this program a scam, unless I will paid what I had in my account before I was deleted.

Try reading your emails....When the payouts were done she explained it would take a while to pay everyone out. Theres also the thread in the Prasie folder where another PO I believe offered a timeline that it would take him to pay that many members.
