Just checked the site again and have found a note saying that they have lost everything while moveing to a new server. Sorry they say all has been lost. What a cop out from them. They have no back up before the moved. This is getting to be a bit much from the wm of paid to click and read sites. Sorry that is no reason as far as I'm concerned. Just a way not to pay again again. I just lost $21 dollars from that one.

You're right there is NO reason. All a webmaster has to do is download a hardcopy once a week or so and then there is no risk of coruption, lost backups etc

Or daily even. Well, not a surprise with this one! ph34r.gif

all WM should backup their database at least 24 hours to your harddrive and cd-rw

don't rely on your host to do your backup, because you might be shocked when you try to ask for the database from your host huh.gif

mad.gif I really am getting peed off with these people. I realised last month that I had not had any emails from Dream-Weavers for a while and when I checked he had wiped me out, and I had paid for a Gold membership. After extensive emails and not letting it go I got reinstated just in time for him to lose all his data, well really does he think that we really did come off the last banana boat! cool.gif

All I know is that I get so annoyed when the Webmasters keep on going on about cheating and putting expensive, to us, cheat links in and keep on emailing us honest members about not cheating etc; etc and then they go and run off with out money!

I have got stung by EXF; CheeChongClicks; Dream-Weaver and a few others but these three I paid for upgrades! Who's the fool here! I know that I, like the majority of the members of these PTC programs are justs wanting to earn a few extra bucks, and it is just a few, to give us a few treats. I begin to wonder how many honest ones there are out there. All I do know that the last few weeks I have unsubscribed to a number of PTC progs that payout at a ridicously high minimum, i.e. $150! I should live so long as to reach it, even if they are still there and will pay it, most of which will most probably ppoint out some anomoly that they call cheating to squirm out of paying.

Oops, unsure.gif sorry just wanted to get that off my chest!

This is just my opinion, but I saw this coming....

The site was gone for a while.... it took way TOO long...
That is wrong and this PO has just taken everyone for a fool....
What a jerk! mad.gif

Although I know it won't happen, NOBODY should join this site at all and risk getting scammed all over again....

They did the same with Waysoftherose and Waysofwealt. I was a goldmember in both and loved the programs. Then it was one thing after and other and surprise surprise they are gone --

I did not know at first that dream-weavers was their program so I joined but thought the resemblance was suspicious so I kept from upgrading or putting any sort of money into it --

sooner or later criminals on the net will be held just as accountable as when they steal your money in real life and then they will have to build a whole new jail just for the ptr world. wink.gif

No surprise this one went this way, no doubt many others with higher payouts will continue the trend.

But then the lemmings will run and re-join these kind of scam sites won't they.

Well, all I can say is that members who are sick of this crap, need to go to

GPTBoycott.COM and then lodge a complaint

against each site you have been a member of and go from there!
the forum is so underrated, but it is just as good as a source of info, as GPF.

I just hope all WM's will delete this guys accounts and ban him, he was pay2me and promoted all the sites he belonged too. Almost all paid mails and ptc's were this personons personal accounts to programs.

All he wanted to do was build up his own accounts then disapear.. I just hope that other PO's will ban this person from their programs

I know you should make a daily backup. More so if you make major changes...BUT that is a software backup and yes things do go wrong..they do get correupted. But a hardcopy is a printed version that can be re-entered manually if one has to. I say weekly because even with the size of our site it takes 40 pieces of paper. And no I don't worry about privacy issues as the information is alot safer in a folder on my desk than it is on any network computer and when a new one is done th eold is shredded and used for kindling

Boy am I glad I got out of this one last month.

The former host of Dream-Weavers was in here a little while ago asking about this site. dry.gif

What a crock. This "lost the database" BS is getting to be more of a nuisance than the Nigerian Scam.
In both cases, I don't see how people are still falling for them.

Yeah I'd noticed that there was ALOT of promotion of pay2me's accounts, thought that was a little suss.... And to think of all the time I spent in the PTC section...

All I can say is.... bum... mad.gif sad.gif

The weird part is the WM introduced me to quite a few of the places I belong to, but I did find it VERY interesting that 99% of the PTR programs advertised was from the WM's DL...

Thank god I felt "scam" and did nothing more than some emails and a few PTC every now and again... But yes this sucks so much it should be in adult film...
