I see that two companies have recently changed their terms by requiring $2.00's worth of personal clicks before you can be paid.
Don't they want members to build a referral downline?
By the way there are now about 200 GPTREM programs out there. I will vote with my feet and support those programs that are willing to pay members for their work in getting referrals.
I don't have a probelm per se with a minimum click rate, but $2.00's with a lot of these companies is 400 links that have to be clicked.
What do you all think?

Perhaps a bit much, but I guess they just don't want you to rely on referrals earning the money for you. They want you to be active in the program.

$2 worth is 200 clicks for 1 cents click and 400 clicks for 0.5 cents click. Thats realy too much, they are stopping people with large numbers of referrals to cash out. They will definitely loose the game if they don't treat their referrers well.

That is only required on PaidTin to get paid out early at $14. You can still get paid at the regular payout of $33 no matter how many personal clicks.
On InboxMint.net I require 50 cents of personal click thrus to cash out. We send MANY emails so this should not be a problem at all. This is only to prevent the "big hitters" from referring a couple hundred people, then sitting back and saying that their job is done. The minimum personal clicks is only to satisfy the advertisers, which in turn gets more advertisers and lets the members pay more.

Just to let you know, I joined TopDollarEmails near the beginning (should have promoted it but didn't). They send out so many paid mails that getting $2 shouldn't be a problem. I got my first ref for the program today. You just have to be quick because they send the mails out to all members, whoever clicks the links first gets the credit. My stats:
Paid Email Clickthrus: $1.2207
Credits: $0.0000
Debits: $0.0000
Your Referrals:
Tier 1: (1 Total Referrals)
Total Earnings: $1.2307
