I'm new to the paid to click thing and I'm also new to this fourm. I am open to any and all advice anyone has for a rookie out here trying to make a little money with now money to invest.

Do a search for the programmes you might be interested in - or watch for new ones coming along and get in quick.
I think it's great that you found your way to this forum.
This is one of the best forums for info on the 'Get-Paid-To' industry.
My advise would be to read the forums here and find out which sites have good reviews (and have actually paid people).
You can get a lot of free advertising from traffic exchange sites.
I would also recommend joining some programs which have a low minimum payout so that you can earn a little money. Then use this money to advertise your sites further.
In regards to getting referrals (building a downline), I understand that there is a Downline Builder forum here which can be used once you have been a member for 2 weeks and have 20 posts (someone correct me if I'm wrong).
PM me if you want some links to some programs I'm a member in. I'm also looking for a few people do to a referral exchange with (I'll sign up in one of your programs, if you sign up in one of mine).

traffic exchanges dont work well! i would join some redeem for ads only programmes like misha-mails, dollar-mail and mikessoloads
there are no requirements for the downline builder, thats for the referral exchange

you earn too little from these programmes. its a waste of time.

$ 150
Don't Join no minimum payout programs.
The max i got in one month from Opt-In-Pays was 79 cents
I haven't tried the rest but they are going to be the same.
I recommend

BettyBucks ($ 10.00 Payout)
and
TigerEmails ($ 6.0 Payout)
i do well with opt in pays....i have 36 refs in the first level and make over 3 dollars.....and they pay without having to wait for ages and requesting payment over and over again.........take nilescash....big hype about it and u never see the cash......i would rather have the small and safe.....and GET my cash without hassles

I think what nafan meant was: traffic exchanges didnt work well for HIM. I personally am a big fan, ESPECIALLY if you ever get to the point where you own your own site. I know it seems like a big step, but its the best way to earn money online.
I not only own exchanges, but I use them. Don't underestimate the power of free traffic. Now, if you are promoting a "referral link" to someone else's program, you will not see as good of results. But for promoting a new site, especially a new "get paid" site, I can't think of a better way to get free traffic....besides being the lucky owner of an extensive optin email list.

I definitely agree. When I first got into paid-to-read programs I only joined programs with extremely low minimums or no minimum, and I wound up earning almost nothing.

The minimum payout only matters in the context of how long you expect the site to last and whether or not the program owner is honest. Try to find at least a couple of well-known higher-minimum programs to join ($25 to $50, for example) because these programs usually have higher link values so you will earn more money for your time. I'm in three $50-minimum programs, one $35-minimum program, one $25-minimum program, one $20-minimum program, and the rest of mine have minimums from $5 to $10.
Also, due to the volatile nature of the paid-to-read industry, try to diversify. Don't put all your time/money into just one or two programs, but try and find at least 10 or 15 excellent ones to join.
Once you have gotten settled and have figured out how everything works, it could be worthwhile for you to do a little advertising of your own. Even just a few referrals at a program with good referral earnings can make a huge difference in how quickly you reach payout.

Personally, I think everyone should be a member of ShareAdSpace. Just my opinion
I think its brilliant and Rod who owns it is a great guy!
Start off with a few ptr programmes and build them up. Join a few just for the advertising so you can build your proggies.
