I had to laugh at part of his e-mail though, where he said "I love to give away money." Uh huh, yeah, he likes to give away 0.2 cents? LOL!

Well it's just how you read it! and indeed you only put up the "nasty" parts.
If you read the email, and obviously you didn't, you would see it was a commercial message, you should have read it as: hereis $1 for free, don't you want it?
I don't understand really why everybody is tripping about the messages that are written by him, there areloads of webmasters that write the same way and i never heard a complaint about them?
Step in his shoes, YOU are the one giving away free money, but no one takes it, wouldn't you think that is strange?
And for the person with a number as name, obviously you were not a goldmember, because then you would know that there is no goldmembership, only clickers and clickmasters.
If you don't like a webmaster, unsubscribe, but don't post here things that you would do just about the same way if you were a webmaster!
Fred is a nice person in my eyes, ervery email i send to him, he gave me a reply, even the ones that must have looked rather stupid to him.
Don't judge a webmaster from just 1 email.

no one said YOU had to unsubscribe.
if the others want to, that's their business.
i was a member, but i left bacause i couldn't handle his attititude. he IS rude. and he's a weasle. and that is MY opinion. and the program isn't what it is cracked up to be. maybe he's beginning to realize that there are other quality programs that are much cheaper than his and also produce results. he does talk down to people and the ones that have posted here share that opnion. obviously you don't.
defend fred all you like, but the problem is - it's not just judging him by one email. it's almost every email that he is rude. and yes, we've all heard the "if you don't like it, unsubscribe" speech and that is what these people are doing.
we aren't all going to agree on things, but this is a forum and everyone is putting their opinion forward. so let them do it regardless of whether it is positive or negative.

Summersun, it takes more than one e.mail to push me out of a program. It may be true that his personal communications with you have been courteous and helpful, but to me, the general tone of his e.mails to his members had been--for at least 4 or 5 successive e.mails--incredibly obsequious, condescending, disrespectful, and downright rude. The way I see it is, if those mails don't reflect his true personality, then he is either split-personality or the world's biggest hypocrite, and if they do reflect it, then he's one of the most unsavory people I've ever had the misfortune to meet online. I will never support a program run by a person like that. And in2travel is right; this is a forum where we must be allowed to express our own opinions--even if they don't all agree with each other. (Wouldn't that be boring, anyway?)
thasith
Jun 8 2002, 12:44 PM
summersun is correct. But summersun, you have to understand one thing.
It's just the way how you read the mail. But because each person has different feeling and differnent ideas...some might say he is insulting, some might say he's just annoying, some might say it doesn't mean anything to me. So hope you understand it.

Jun 8 2002, 12:55 PM
I don't know the program but I agree with the last post... I just got finished word fighting with a girl on another paid to read email program because she thought the webmistress was rude where as I think she is justified for the way her members act to her plus different people have different ways of expressing themselves. Everyone has their own opinion which is why this forum is the most lively place to be.. I hope we never agree on everything then it will become pretty boring...

Jun 8 2002, 01:07 PM
well, if everybody may express their opinion, then why is everybody jumpin' on me?

Summersun,
You are right and if my post sounded as if I were jumping on you I am sorry. If was not meant in anyway to be rude. You like everyone else has a right to their opinion and don't not post because of someone else opinion. That is what makes this forum interesting is everyone voicing his or her opinion.

Hi,
I understand why people think he is rude, but this guy is offering $1+ a day for visiting 250 sites, which takes about an hour. That is more than you will earn in any paid email program and it at the very least would give you free clickmaster status. Not to mention the page views you would get by doing this. His point is that despite what he is offering, it is amazing that people still won't do it. They would rather click for 1 penny a day or less than spend an hour earning $1 a day. Compared to paid email programs and other hit exchanges, his program is more profitable, and I say that as an owner of a paid email site and hit exchange. It's too bad that people get stuck on his words and overlook the meaning.
Also there is no question that you will get paid in his program. He is a multiple business owner, which means he is in it for the long haul. Can you say the same about your favorite paid email program?

Also, another thing: sure, he is offering that right now, but it always seemed to me that the terms of that program could change practically every day. One day it was $3.30 a day for surfing, the next it was a certain percentage of the take (like 7 cents/day), then there was a 5 dollar bonus for new surfers, then suddenly it was gone, then...I just felt like there was no consistency in the program, that it was always fluctuating. That's just the way it seemed to me.

Thasith,
Everyday in June that you click at least 250 sites at Clickity, you make $1 PLUS the few cents. That means lots of clickers are making more than $30 for the month of June.
If you are a clickmaster, you can't make the $1 bonus, but you DO make 20% of your downline's bonuses for 5 levels.
If you are a clickmaster and you have only 5 people in your downline who are clicking the 250 pages a day, you will be making $1 a day from them. If you have 25 who are clicking, you will make $5 a day.
There is another promotion scheduled for July.
Lots of people are making LOTS of money at Clickity Cash.
Even if Fred Srock keeps changing the rules, he is constantly coming up with more ways for members to make money.
Fred Srock may have an attitude, but if you take advantage of his promotions, you can make a great deal of money there.
Some people are making many hundreds of dollars there every month! You just have to listen to Fred when he tells you how to make the money, and then do it!
And another good thing about Fred Srock, when you cash your account out, you have your money within an hour!

I think the problem is more a cultural one.
- I don't like people being rude for whatever reason, being a good or a bad reason, it's just a nuisance...and I can't support people being like that, I'd feel like they pay me 1 $US or more so I have to shush.
- His way on getting people clicking has positive results with some of his members but exactly the other reaction from other members who unsubscribe after reading his mails.
- And last but not least, he told us he sells dreams, it's a pyramid scheme..........in my country selling dreams like that is illegal.

And I have 50+ referrals there, I assign the credits, once in a while, go and look at the pictures people put there and such !
I just don't read webmaster's mails anymore...if something interesting happens over there, I'll probably read it in a forum somewhere ! He does what he wants, I don't really care and you're right, he pays well and quickly.

Dear myname..
Over 13,000 of you reading this message have yet to claim the first dollar available to you in our current promotion that has been running the past 10 days.
That`s $10.00 I didn`t GIVE you. So, I guess it`s $10.00 you gave ME!
Thanks!
Ya`ll have saved me $130,000 so far this month!!!
But heck, I`ll keep it if you want me to.
But you can still get another $17.00 this month. Each of you! All you have to do is:
Surf 250 pages each day for the rest of the month.
Takes about 70 minutes. In the process, you`ll earn somewhere between 200-300 visitors to your website!
All this is absolutely FREE. No obligation to buy anything - now or ever.
The $1.00 is available ONLY to FREE members who have surfed less than 15,000 pages.
Start right now!

Have You Seen Our New ClickityCash Message Board???
Lots of fun, information and help there.

A Word About Recruiting---
Several of you have engaged the services of programs who PAY people to join ClickityCash.
Everyone of you have found this approach to be HUGELY dissatisfying. Hundreds, even thousands join, yes. Half of them never confirm their email address and are deleted 2 days later. The vast majority of the remainder never surf a page and are deleted 30 days later. The productive members left comprise *maybe* 1% of total signups from the effort. The members using this tactic end up paying $30 - $80 per productive member in the end.
IT ISN`T WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
This activity bogs down our servers (have you noticed the "Too Many Connections" messages lately?).
It wastes bandwidth and resources when these newsletters are sent out.
It demoralizes you when you see a huge increase in your downline followed by as huge a *decrease* in your downline.
Pay-To-Join programs are WORTHLESS!!!
There are so many FREE ways to get members, this method is utterly counter-productive to your portfolio.
Don`t Do It!!!
----------------------------------------------------------
Have you been watching our daily page views??!!

The June Promotion is *Working* !!
ClickMasters are making money hand over fist!!
BTW, we have added 57 ClickMasters in the last 11 days!! Everytime someone upgrades, all the ClickMasters in their upline make money. And all ClickMasters earn 20% of all the dollars earned by the Clickers in their downline!
Either way, a ClickMaster with an active downline MAKES MONEY!
Almost half of the members surfing each day are surfing at least 250 pages. The trouble is, less than 2,000 of our 17,000+ members are surfing at all!
Come on everyone - I`m giving away HUNDREDS of dollars every day - just to get you to build traffic to your website! You must have been interested in doing this, or you wouldn`t have joined.
Let me give YOU some money!
---------------------------------------------------------
UpComing Promotions (JULY):
** RealCash Awards for *everyone* who clicks a minimum number of sites when we reach daily total page view goals!
** FREE drawings for ClickMaster memberships for Clickers who reach page view milestones!!

And I said, I don't like him to be rude but I said also he is a good payer....I generally try to remain as objective as possible, don't say the nice side isn't posted...read the postings first
I don't think he cares if we say he is rude, he knows it probably very well but it is his marketing stratgey and the more we talk about him, good or bad, the more people will go to clickity cash, all publicity is useful, even bad one !
Being provocative, rude etc.... is not something I could do to push my members but for sure it works...
If he is rude with his members and in his own message board, he certainly won't blame the ones that do the same to him and say they don't like it, I think he doesn't care as long as they click, refer and make him earn money ;-)
But if we go away from the internet money machine, he might be a very nice and polite person in real life, we never know,( benefits of doubt )

I am with all of you who think that Fred over at ClickityCash is rude! Webmasters need to remember that if they treat thier customers (free OR paid) with such rudeness & audacity, sooner or later, they'll lose all their business(this isn't aimed toward all webmasters, just a select few)! People just don't want to be treated as inferior and they don't have to take it!
Anyone remember this message?
quote:
I introduced the RealCash awards to provide an incentive to view more pages, but somehow it has gotten twisted around where people think that the reason they click is to earn the RealCash.
Maybe some of you like to work for 20 cents an hour, but that is not the intention of the RealCash.
I don`t owe it to you - you don`t earn it. I "pay" you for surfing the sites with ClickityCash, not RealCash.
RealCash is something you won`t get from almost any other surf-for-hits or traffic exchange program on the net. In fact, to my knowledge, WebQuest is the only other one offering any kind of cash incentive, and they only did that because I started doing it.
Obviously, the cash has to come from somewhere. If we had 50,000 members earning $2.00/day for surfing pages, where does the money come from? You think I have a U.S. Mint in my backyard? I am appalled at how some of you are incensed because I am not giving you more money. I don`t have to do it folks. If I didn`t give out ONE PENNY of RealCash, my program would *still* be better than any other on the web, by virtue of the RaffleCash alone..........
More? okay.... quote:
Yes, it takes a LOOONNNGGG time to earn $3.00 clicking on ClickityCash. I find it almost amusing that some of you will spend 4, 6, 10 hours a day clicking for the pitance. If you were to invest that TIME wisely, you would be making 1,000 times that every month........ The surfing is fun and receiving the RealCash is cool and cute and even exciting, but its usefulness is no more than honey to the flies. That`s how we trap them, then we *teach* them how to make themselves and ourselves some SERIOUS money. The ClickMasters with the largest downlines are only making $5.00 or $10.00/day off the override on the RealCash their downline wins. But they are also making $50 to $100 a day by showing those downline people how to make serious money.........
Hummmm... Admitting to trapping people?! Need I say more? (needed to vent!LOL)

That is rather disgusting and condescending. I never signed up for Clickity Cash - apparently it is fortunate that I did not. Messages sent to Points2Cash members are always positive, and I do not think that "Fred Srock" has any right to address members in a negative condescending way which openly suggests that he is trying to exploit them. I suggest that no one tolerate such messages. He should be thanking members for using his program often, rather than insulting them.
i am unsubscribing as well not only for the style od the webmaster, but it has been too many changes about rewards for my style and lately they are getting very agresive with their promoting, sign that there is something wrong
